He moves exceptionally well for his frame, showing light feet and body control in pass protection while still bringing the strength to anchor against power rushers. In the run game, he plays with leverage and force, generating movement at the point of attack and finishing blocks with authority. His rare combination of physical tools and functional athleticism makes him one of the top offensive lineman prospects in the country with 19 offers.

Mueller earned All-County honors from the OC Register as a freshman for Servite and All-Trinity League honors.

Mueller checks into our rankings as the top offensive line prospect in the class and is already one of the top players in the best league in the country. He’s extremely athletic for his size and has elite movement abilities, flashes patient hands and projects as a true tackle at the next level. He is a heavy striker that explodes off the ball and finishes blocks downfield with nasty intentions while showing he can get to the second level and block in space. In pass protection, he has good patience and stays within his frame while able to win against both speed and power rushers and post against countermoves back inside. He’s well on his way to becoming a national recruit and holds offers from Cal, Ole Miss, Arizona, Arizona State and Auburn, among others.

Mueller was the only freshman to earn All-County honors from the OC Register and stood out when I watched Servite in person this season.

He is a good combination of lateral quickness and strength. His motor is off the charts and he drives guys into the ground while remaining under control. When pulling, he is a good blocker in space and always has his body in the right position. It’s easy to see why schools like Auburn, Ole Miss and Oregon are early in offering him.
