Jones is a young up and coming name to note that lands on our watch list rankings in this update and should really come onto the scene as a sophomore in 2026 and is a very high IQ prospect. He is a strong and powerful defensive end that explodes off the ball to set the edge, shoots his hands at the POA and can chase down ball carriers backside and close on the quarterback quickly. Jones is one of the top in his class and offers nice position versatility through his prep career and should start really drawing plenty of college attention over the next 12 months. Jones can play either defensive end or outside linebacker as a edge guy on the perimeter and should be moved around a lot as a sophomore.
