Coach is a lengthy outside backer who has added some muscle since I’ve last seen him. He was excellent in coverage against the running backs in the one-on-one pass coverage drills. Coach has good lateral quickness and is physical without holding.

The hybrid DE/OLB makes a big jump in the rankings after a flashing great upside and potential throughout his sophomore year. At 6’3” 205 lbs. he’s an aggressive defender that can impact the game in a variety of ways as an edge rusher, run stopper, or dropping into coverage. Plays hard and fast to make plays sideline to sideline and down field. A high level athlete that shows natural bend, good speed, and lateral agility as he redirects to the ball. Closes space in a hurry with plus short area burst and is a strong tackler at the POA. Disengages from blockers and maintains separation with good hand usage and strength. Just scratching the surface of his ability with room to add mass without sacrificing his athleticism/mobility. Holds four offers to date but expect that number to climb as he showcases his skillset.

Attacking defender that plays downhill and fast. At 6’3” 205 lbs. he’s listed as an edge/OLB and plays that hybrid position well with his ability to rush the passer off the edge or read and react playing off the LOS. He’s a good athlete that can move and redirect to the ball with a high motor. Fights off contact well and does a good job maintaining separation with his hands to not allow blockers into his body. Relentless in pursuit of the ball carrier. Strong start to his recruitment this spring collecting four D1 offers. Has plenty of room and time to add size and offers.

The talented freshman is going to end up being a national recruit as a standup edge player and has great explosion off the ball and a quick use of hands against bigger blockers, natural bend around the edge and is extremely explosive at the point of attack with heavy hands and plays violent at all times. He shows good closing speed and closing speed on ball carriers backside while quickly collapsing the pocket. We have not seen many pass rushers at this age be as explosive/twitched up as Coach, but he is truly an elite pass rusher that should be a 20+ P4 offer kid by the time he graduates from Bosco.
