Bates is a terrific athlete on both sides of the ball that should have a breakout season as a sophomore and showed elite explosion and big plays abilities in his first season with the Braves. He is quick twitched and a very strong runner that can get into the open field with ease and make tacklers miss/force poor angles on his way to the end zone. He has a big frame, long catch radius and shows he can get off press coverage and over the top of safeties with ease and should have a breakout sophomore year for Bosco and be one of the better newcomers in the trinity league in 2026.
