Corona del Mar receiver Dorsett Stecker Dorsett Stecker 5'9" | 170 lbs | WR Corona del Mar | 2026 State CA announced his commitment to Wisconsin on Wednesday.

Stecker had 748 yards on 68 catches with 13 touchdowns for Corona del Mar this season.

San Jose State and UNLV offered Stecker but he is headed to Wisconsin on a PWO.

Corona del Mar had several players perform well and were the surprise team of the day. Stecker looks much more muscular than when I last saw him and had no problem going against high-profile defensive backs throughout the day. He can create separation with his route running and has strong hands.

Stecker was a major part of Corona del Mar’s offense before being banged up a bit during league play. He caught 54 passes for 726 yards with nine touchdowns.

A big strength of his game is his release against man coverage. Corona del Mar loves to give him redzone fades or corner routes and his release gets the defender to bite on the slant while he is wide open in the corner of the endzone. He has good instincts against zone coverage and is a tough guy to bring down despite his smaller frame.

Stecker was banged up for some of the second half of the season but had 726 yards on 54 catches with nine touchdowns. Corona del Mar finds ways to get Stecker the ball in space and he could be near the top of the county in targets.

The junior receiver caught four passes for 103 yards with a pair of touchdowns for Corona del Mar in a 21-0 win over Rancho Verde.

Stecker had a breakout sophomore season at CdM with 657 yards on 65 catches with four touchdowns.

He’s a gifted route runner who can create space with his agility. Stecker lines up in the slot often and he’s too fast for safeties to cover in man coverage. He also does a good job splitting the safeties in two-high coverages.

Stecker looked good at CdM’s passing tournament this spring and I expect him to be the team’s top receiver this season.
