OFFENSE

QB - [player_tooltip player_id='595670' first='John' last='Mark Roller'] - Senior - Regent Prep

Regent Prep senior quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='595670' first='John' last='Mark Roller'] put up numbers this season that you really only see in video games. Roller threw for more than 4,200 yards and 50 touchdowns while adding over 1,200 yards and 22 touchdowns on the ground. He also helped Regent Prep make a very successful transition to 11-man football, as they made it to the A-2 semifinals.

RB - [player_tooltip player_id='353410' first='Caden' last='Knighten'] - Senior - Pauls Valley

Pauls Valley senior running back and Baylor signee [player_tooltip player_id='353410' first='Caden' last='Knighten'] came back with a vengeance in 2024. He was our Comeback Player Of The Year after accounting for well over 2,000 yards of total offense and over 30 touchdowns on offense. After missing almost all of his junior season, Knighten made up for lost time and dominated in 2024.

RB - [player_tooltip player_id='472321' first='Ritson' last='Meyer'] - Junior - Elgin

Elgin junior running back [player_tooltip player_id='472321' first='Ritson' last='Meyer'] emerged this season as one of the state's best. After backing up another All State running back in 2023, Meyer wasted no time establishing himself as one of the best running backs. The Elgin junior would run for more than 1,800 yards and 32 touchdowns. And he showed he could be a workhorse in the state title game when he carried the ball over 40 times.

WR - [player_tooltip player_id='467141' first='Brayden' last='Hardwick'] - Junior - Pocola

Pocola junior wide receiver [player_tooltip player_id='467141' first='Brayden' last='Hardwick'] was a name that we knew about coming into this season but we didn't anticipate him being the state's leading receiver in 2024. Hardwick was an absolute star for the Indians this season, finishing with over 100 receptions and over 1,700 yards. And the thing that makes Hardwick one of the best is his best performances were against the toughest opponents.

WR - [player_tooltip player_id='1530080' first='Dom' last='Forbes'] - Sophomore - Sand Springs

Sand Springs sophomore [player_tooltip player_id='1530080' first='Dom' last='Forbes'] would emerge as one of the state's breakout stars during the 2024 season. Forbes went from somewhat of an unknown at the beginning of the year to one of the best wide receivers. He finished with over 1,500 receiving yards and 20 touchdowns on the season and what's scary is he'll be back for much more in 2025.

WR - [player_tooltip player_id='284117' first='Mason' last='James'] - Junior - Norman North

Norman North junior wide receiver [player_tooltip player_id='284117' first='Mason' last='James'] has firmly established himself as one of the top offensive playmakers in the state. The 2024 season was just another example of him being an absolute star. James finished with well over 1,200 yards and 17 touchdowns receiving. When James gets the ball in the open field, he routinely finds his way into the end zone.

OL - [player_tooltip player_id='497346' first='Jace' last='Williams'] - Senior - Elgin

Elgin senior offensive lineman and Navy signee [player_tooltip player_id='497346' first='Jace' last='Williams'] has been a critical part of Elgin's climb to the mountain top over the last three seasons. While Williams was a no doubt pick for the All State team on the offensive line, he was also important to Elgin on the defensive side of the ball. But he was another piece of one of the top offensive lines in the state.

OL - [player_tooltip player_id='353413' first='Justus' last='Gilliam'] - Senior - Sulphur

Sulphur senior offensive lineman [player_tooltip player_id='353413' first='Justus' last='Gilliam'] was one of the more experienced players on a Bulldog team that came very close to capturing the Class 3A state championship. Whether it was on offense or defense, Gilliam went to work every single week and made opponents have a very tough time. Gilliam has been one of our favorite players to watch because of the energy he plays with.

OL - [player_tooltip player_id='528027' first='Kaeden' last='Penny'] - Sophomore - Bixby

Bixby sophomore offensive lineman [player_tooltip player_id='528027' first='Kaeden' last='Penny'] came into this season as a name to watch for us on the defensive line. By the end of the season, you could make a strong argument that he's one of the top offensive linemen in the state. Penny is already considered one of the state's top prospects in the 2027 class and is just scratching the surface on his potential.

OL - [player_tooltip player_id='598832' first='Parker' last='Howell'] - Senior - Edmond Memorial

Edmond Memorial senior offensive lineman [player_tooltip player_id='598832' first='Parker' last='Howell'] has earned his spot on this breakdown because of his overall growth as a player and the success of the Edmond Memorial offense. The Bulldogs were one of the more balanced teams in the state and it all starts up front. Howell elevated his game this season and the Bulldogs definitely benefitted from that.

OL - [player_tooltip player_id='467408' first='Ryley' last='Kester'] - Junior - Jenks

Jenks junior offensive lineman [player_tooltip player_id='467408' first='Ryley' last='Kester'] made the move in the offseason from Sand Springs to Jenks and he quickly became one of the state's top guys along the offensive line in Class 6A-1. As we've mentioned in the past, Kester plays the game with a mean streak that you just don't see very often. He's one of the more physical players in the state.

DEFENSE

DL - [player_tooltip player_id='294445' first='Cash' last='Jacobsen'] - Senior - Jenks

Jenks senior defensive lineman and USC signee [player_tooltip player_id='294445' first='Cash' last='Jacobsen'] became one of the top interior defensive linemen in the state in 2024. Jacobsen showed potential early on in his career but in 2024, it all started to click and Jacobsen became a force that opponents needed to worry about. And with a dominant senior season, Jacobsen earned several big time opportunities at the next level.

DL - [player_tooltip player_id='1539931' first='Lebron' last='Royal'] - Junior - Carl Albert

Carl Albert junior defensive lineman [player_tooltip player_id='1539931' first='Lebron' last='Royal'] was one of the breakout stars on a Carl Albert defense that has a very strong argument for being the best defense in the state. Royal was second on the team in tackles and led the Titans in tackles for loss. Needless to say, Royal found a way to cause absolute mayhem on the line of scrimmage on a weekly basis.

DL - [player_tooltip player_id='1346490' first='Leland' last='Smith'] - Senior - Edmond Memorial

Edmond Memorial senior defensive lineman [player_tooltip player_id='1346490' first='Leland' last='Smith'] capped off his career with a very successful senior season. The Bulldogs had a stout defense during the 2024 season and it started up front with Smith and the rest of the Bulldog front seven. When we caught them in person, he was one of the better defensive players on the football field that night.

LB - [player_tooltip player_id='1606861' first='Adrian' last='Avelar'] - Senior - Tuttle

Tuttle senior linebacker [player_tooltip player_id='1606861' first='Adrian' last='Avelar'] was an absolute tackling machine in 2024 and he capped off his high school career on a high note. Despite the Tigers coming up short in the state championship game, Avelar was one of the best players on the field that day. Avelar has a nose for the football and there's no surprise why he racked up the tackles during the 2024 season.

LB - [player_tooltip player_id='473879' first='Case' last='Alexander'] - Sophomore - Washington

Washington sophomore linebacker [player_tooltip player_id='473879' first='Case' last='Alexander'] came into the 2024 season with a lot of momentum after a breakout freshman season in 2023. He continued that momentum, becoming without a doubt one of the top linebackers in Oklahoma. Alexander helped guide the Warriors to another state title and don't be surprised if he has a bigger role on offense in 2025.

LB - [player_tooltip player_id='1097273' first='Coda' last='Barnoski'] - Junior - Muskogee

Muskogee junior linebacker [player_tooltip player_id='1097273' first='Coda' last='Barnoski'] was one of the team's most productive defenders for the second straight season. After a breakout sophomore season in 2023, Barnoski came back in 2024 and was once again one of the team leaders in tackles. Now, the Rougher star will be the unquestioned leader of the defense as he goes into his senior year.

LB - [player_tooltip player_id='414994' first='Cord' last='Nolan'] - Junior - Bixby

Bixby junior standout [player_tooltip player_id='414994' first='Cord' last='Nolan'] has been a consistent presence for the Spartans on both sides of the ball. And it feels like we've consistently gone back and forth on what we like Nolan as between offense or defense. But right now, we can't ignore the impact he had on the defensive side of the ball. And Nolan is another standout linebacker for a program that routinely puts out stars there.

DB - [player_tooltip player_id='338550' first='Emory' last='Snyder'] - Junior - Bixby

Bixby junior cornerback [player_tooltip player_id='338550' first='Emory' last='Snyder'] has been on our radar for a few years and it all came together in 2024. We've known Snyder as a two-way player in the past but he has turned himself into a very interesting cornerback to keep an eye on moving forward. In some of Bixby's biggest games in 2024, it was Snyder that made some of the biggest plays.

DB - [player_tooltip player_id='1163613' first='Jaylon' last='Moll'] - Senior - Owasso

Owasso senior cornerback [player_tooltip player_id='1163613' first='Jaylon' last='Moll'] was one of the more underrated defensive players in the state this season and he should get more recognition around the state. Moll is your prototypical shut down corner and he lived up to that reputation throughout the 2024 season. Despite routinely giving up the advantage in the height department, Moll always brought it.

DB - [player_tooltip player_id='402381' first='Oliver' last='Smith'] - Junior - Union

Union junior defensive back [player_tooltip player_id='402381' first='Oliver' last='Smith'] is coming off a breakout junior season and his stock could not be higher than it is right now. Smith is definitely going to be a name to watch moving forward and maybe that shouldn't be a surprise considering he's the next guy emerging from a Union secondary that routinely sends guys to the next level.

DB - [player_tooltip player_id='1109322' first='Zyhir' last='Fisher'] - Senior - Deer Creek

Deer Creek senior defensive back [player_tooltip player_id='1109322' first='Zyhir' last='Fisher'] moved over from Millwood in the offseason and had an immediate impact on the defensive side of the ball for the Antlers. Fisher plays the game with a high intensity and that paid off in a big way. He turned into an absolute ball hawk and simply had a nose for the football and was routinely in the right spot.

KICKER/ALL PURPOSE

K - [player_tooltip player_id='294263' first='Ty' last='Ackerman'] - Senior - Edmond Memorial

Edmond Memorial senior kicker [player_tooltip player_id='294263' first='Ty' last='Ackerman'] has been one of the state's top kickers for a while now and he capped off his career as just that in 2024. Ackerman has one of the best legs in the state and he was definitely a weapon for the Bulldogs in the kicking game. Ackerman has made things very easy for Edmond Memorial's special teams unit over the last few years.

ATH - [player_tooltip player_id='268307' first='Brayson' last='Carter'] - Senior - Blanchard

Blanchard senior standout [player_tooltip player_id='268307' first='Brayson' last='Carter'] continued to be the definition of a complete football player in 2024. Offensively, Carter was a standout wide receiver. Defensively, Carter was one of the state's ball hawks and in special teams, he was a very dangerous kick returner. No matter where Carter was lined up, he was going to be able to have a significant impact.

ATH - [player_tooltip player_id='1569774' first='Maddax' last='Mobly'] - Junior - Sulphur

Sulphur junior standout [player_tooltip player_id='1569774' first='Maddax' last='Mobly'] became an all purpose machine for a high-scoring Sulphur offense in 2024. Mobly helped lead the Bulldogs to the Class 3A state championship game. He was incredibly productive in the run game and as a receiver. Mobly finished with 21 rushing touchdowns and eight receiving touchdowns. He was also very productive as a linebacker.

ATH - [player_tooltip player_id='479389' first='Matrail' last='Lopez'] - Senior - Idabel

Idabel senior and Oklahoma State signee [player_tooltip player_id='479389' first='Matrail' last='Lopez'] was another example of a complete playmaker in 2024. As a receiver, Lopez had nearly 800 yards and nine touchdowns. As a runner, he would finish with nearly 500 yards and 12 touchdowns. He had four kick returns for scores and was incredibly productive on the defensive side of the ball.

ATH - [player_tooltip player_id='192928' first='Ryan' last='Grayson'] - Senior - Beggs

Beggs senior standout [player_tooltip player_id='192928' first='Ryan' last='Grayson'] has been one of the more dominant two-way players for four seasons now. Grayson burst onto the scene as a freshman and he never really slowed down. In 2024, Grayson capped off his high school career as one of the state's top wide receivers and defensive backs. He was also dangerous in the return game in 2024.

ATH - [player_tooltip player_id='901851' first='Zaedon' last='Collins'] - Senior - Clinton

Clinton senior [player_tooltip player_id='901851' first='Zaedon' last='Collins'] capped off his impressive high school career with a dominant senior season on both sides of the ball. As a running back, Collins racked up the yards and found the end zone very frequently. Defensively, he was one of the top linebackers in Class 4A. He was the perfect example of that running back/linebacker combo athlete in 2024.
