It seems like Oklahoma has a handful of guys in every class that it’s preposterous how under the radar they are across the state. Beggs standout

is one of those guys and it makes no sense to us. Grayson got on the radar when he was a freshman running back, getting carries in the same backfield as CJ Brown and Red Martel, who both signed with D1 programs. Grayson has evolved his game to being one of the best players on the field every time he steps on the field. It doesn’t matter where he lines up on the field, he’s capable of making a big play on every snap. Offensively, he’s elevated his game at the wide receiver position and on defense, he’s turned into one of the best ball hawks in the state. He can go on either side but we like him on defense.

Our final player to watch is without a doubt the top playmaker on this Beggs team and he’s been arguably that guy for several years now. Grayson first had his breakout moment during his freshman season. It was clear that he was going to provide a major impact on both sides of the ball and it didn’t really matter where they lined him up. Now, he’s going into his fourth season as that impact player and on offense, we expect to see him making plays at wide receiver after he led the team in receiving a year ago. On defense, he’s one of the top defensive backs in the state and he had six interceptions a year ago. Simply put, he’s going to be one of the best players in 2A-2 this season.

has been just that since his freshman season in 2022. He earned plenty of playing time as a freshman and it was obvious that he was going to be the next top prospect to come out of Beggs. And it hasn’t mattered where he’s lined up on the field. Whether it’s running back, wide receiver or anywhere in the secondary, Grayson is an absolute playmaker and has the ability to shut down an opposing team’s top wide receiver and then turn around and make countless plays on offense. We like Grayson right now at the cornerback position but it wouldn’t surprise us at all if he ends up at the next level at a different position.

came into the tournament as one of the best two-way players in the tourney field. Last month, we saw the Beggs star absolutely steal the show at a tournament from the wide receiver position. This weekend, he did his damage on both sides of the ball. Just like Davis, it didn’t take long for Grayson to get going. In one of the first games of the tournament, Grayson ran a little crossing route, caught the ball, split the defense and raced into the end zone. Grayson has been a prospect in the state’s 2025 class that we’ve liked since literally early on in his freshman season. He is definitely a prospect that belongs near the top of the conversation for overall athletes. It doesn’t matter where he lines up, he makes plays.

has been one of the top prospects in this class since his freshman season. Whether he’s lined up at running back, wide receiver or on defense at corner or safety, Grayson has always been a playmaker. For now, we have Grayson listed as a defensive back prospect but he could very well fit under the “ATH” category because he can do so many things well. Just like Thomas, Grayson is absolutely electric with the football in his hands. And it seems like every time we’ve seen him in person, he’s always making plays and is one of the best athletes on the field. We’re looking forward to seeing where his recruitment takes him this spring because he should have several opportunities waiting for him at the next level.

Beggs is 4-4 on the season as they’ve battled a brutal district schedule and nagging injuries. But despite the 4-4 record, they are still in the hunt for the playoffs. And if they get into the playoffs, they could make plenty of noise with junior

considering he’s one of the best two-way players in the state, regardless of class. This season, Grayson has been an absolute playmaker for Beggs on the offensive side of the ball. He’s mainly been used as their top wide receiver and he’s totaled over 800 yards and eight touchdowns. But he’s also lined up at running back and has over 300 yards and five touchdowns on the ground. And then you look at what Grayson has done on defense and can’t help but be impressed. He has nearly 50 tackles on the season to go along with his six interceptions, including one that he took back for a touchdown. Grayson is a top ten prospect in a loaded 2025 class.

at the DB position but he could also be considered under the ATH umbrella. There’s no other way to describe it, Grayson has been one of the best players in Oklahoma this season. From his dynamic abilities on the offensive side of the ball to his abilities as a ball hawk on defense and then throw in what he can do in the return game and you have a special player. Beggs has leaned on the junior standout to make play after play this season while some of their other top players deal with nagging injuries. Not only has Grayson answered the call but he’s done so and put up some of the best numbers we’ve seen from a two-way player this season.

continued to show why he’s one of the best players in the state. Grayson finished the night with over 350 all purpose yards and five touchdowns in the win. He finished with three touchdowns on the ground and also had a receiving touchdown on offense. Then on defense, Grayson finished with two interceptions and took one of them back for a 100+ yard touchdown. Grayson was also a threat as a return man in special teams. We got a chance to put on some of the film from the win and it was very impressive. It looked like Grayson had a gear that no other player on the field had when he got into the open field.
