You could start to see signs around this time last year that senior

was primed for a monster junior season. He would live up to the preseason hype, leading the Spartans with six interceptions on the season and becoming an All State defensive back and specifically at the cornerback position. Snyder is long and athletic and has that natural ability that you need when playing in the secondary. The Spartans could be pretty special on defense this fall and having a player like Snyder, who has a nose for the football in the turnover department will help. This offseason, Snyder had plenty of schools chasing him but he would eventually commit to West Virginia.

had to patiently wait for his time to shine on Friday nights and that came in 2024. We knew about Snyder prior to the 2024 season because of his work in various 7v7 tournaments and really shining on both sides of the ball. But when the 2024 season kicked off, he immediately started to stand out at the cornerback position. There is a lot to like when you watch Snyder on film or in person. He’s long, athletic and had a lot of success in his first full season as a starter. And this came in a year where he was going up against some really strong competition. Snyder was rewarded with his breakout 2024 season with offers from all over the country and it’s continuing.

Similar to Frankenfield, there isn’t much film to work with when it comes to 2026 athlete

from Bixby. But we’re fortunate enough to have watched Snyder a handful of times at various 7v7 tournaments over the last 18 months. And look, 7v7 tournaments in the offseason aren’t even close to the full picture but it can help give a starting point. And Snyder really impressed us at the C4 tournament in late March. Snyder played cornerback and he also looks like he’s grown a few inches since last spring. Snyder is a rangy and athletic kid that should have his best football ahead of him. And with Bixby losing almost all of their starters on defense, that could open the door for Snyder to have that breakout season this fall with the Spartans.
