has taken over the top spot in the state’s 2028 class rankings. Arant has had a very strong nine months since the start of the 2025 season. At the start of his sophomore season, Arant was a rotational player but his playing time continued to grow throughout the season and by the end of the year, he was a key two-way piece to what the Spartans were doing. On offense, Arant is a terrific tight end that gave the Spartans a huge red zone target. Defensively, Arant came off the edge and terrorized opposing quarterbacks. Since the end of his sophomore season, Arant has seen his recruitment absolutely explode with major P4 offers from all over the country. Right now, he looks like the best prospect in this class.

has had a terrific sophomore season and the really scary thing is Bixby hasn’t really needed him. He was a rotational piece early on this season but he’s starting to get more playing time and we are very intrigued with his impact on both sides of the ball. In the first few games, Arant was rotating in as a edge rusher on third downs and now he’s also getting in and giving the Spartans a huge target at the tight end position. We’re not going to say he’s the next Luke Hasz because he’s actually bigger. But you can see some parallels in their games and the potential here is through the roof.

moved over to Bixby from Jenks this offseason and he’s already earned the attention of Power 4 coaches. He’s already picked up his first offer and this fall could end up being a big one for Arant. We got a chance to watch Arant during the spring and while we were watching, he was primarily working as a defensive end. Arant was going up against a really good offensive line and he looked like he wasn’t having any problems. So there was no doubt that Arant was going to debut in a very high spot in our latest ranking update. We’re looking forward to seeing more of him this fall. It should also be mentioned that he’s a standout on the baseball field.
