go head to head with some very talented players on a big stage. Owens is a 2030 prospect who came into his freshman season with plenty of hype before even stepping on the field. Especially as he also has electric talent on the hardwood. Through three games, he’s certainly lived up to the hype and then some, picking up P4 offers left and right. But Friday’s game against the Broncos will be another big test for the freshman.

is not your typical freshman and it wouldn’t be surprising to see him not only get meaningful reps right away this fall, but that he excels and becomes a name to know across the state immediately. Owens is a terrific athlete and he comes into the high school ranks as one of the more highly anticipated freshmen in the Tulsa area in the last several years. We’ve seen other guys come in with high expectations and live up to them. Owens is the next guy in that group.
