A hard nosed, physical player Arant was often seen as a defensive end prospect but this offseason saw his tight end skills shine and his prospects on the offensive side of the ball become all the more realistic.

The Class of 2028 prospect announced Tuesday that he has verbally committed to the Oklahoma Sooners and tight ends coach Jason Witten. The Sooners, with the former Dallas Cowboys All-Pro tight end coaching the position, have focused on a more traditional tight end prospect that can be a sixth blocker along the line of scrimmage while also being a threat in the passing game.
