2028 wide receiver and defensive end King Underwood King Underwood 6'4" | 210 lbs | WR/ATH Piedmont | 2028 State OK is a newcomer to the Wildcats, coming over from Cashion and he’s a 2028 prospect that is about to blow up in a major way. Underwood showed a lot of promise last season as a sophomore and there’s no doubt that from an athletic standpoint, Underwood has a lot of features to like. Now, it will be interesting to see how the Wildcats use him because on one hand, he has the potential to be one of, if not the best wide receiver in 6A-2 football this season. But in this offense, Piedmont is going to rarely throw the football so Underwood will need to take full advantage of his opportunities when they come his way. 

It’s not very often that a prospect goes from being unranked to a top ten guy in the class. But it has happened and it’s happened again here with Piedmont wide receiver King Underwood King Underwood 6'4" | 210 lbs | WR/ATH Piedmont | 2028 State OK debuting as a top ten overall prospect and new #1 WR prospect in the ’28 class. Underwood spent his sophomore season at Cashion and when we caught them in person last fall, he had a good showing and looked like an athlete to keep an eye on moving forward. He’s also a very strong athlete, emerging as a really solid basketball prospect. Underwood made the move to Piedmont this offseason and camped at Tennessee earlier this offseason, earning an offer from the Vols and that could be the first of many in the next twelve months.
