over the last six months but it’s been strictly for what he’s done on the 7v7 circuit. DeHeart was one of the more consistent wide receivers we watched this offseason but it will obviously look different when the pads come on. However, we got our first glimpse of that in May at the team camp in Bixby and DeHart was just as dangerous with the pads on as he was with them off. We think that he has the potential to be a breakout star in this Bixby offense. The Spartans have a few playmakers at the wide receiver position but DeHart is going to be able to find ways to get open and the chemistry he has with his QB is outstanding.

is on our short list of players in Class 6A-1 that we think will have a breakout season this fall. DeHart has really impressed us on the 7v7 circuit this offseason. Now, impressing in 7v7 tournaments is a little different than doing it on Friday nights in the fall but we think he’s on the path of that breakout season. First of all, DeHart catches everything thrown his way. Bixby needs to find new players to replace that production lost to graduation. DeHart is going to be in a good position to do just that this fall. This weekend, DeHart was once again a consistent receiver that ate up yards after the catch.

could have fit in a few categories this week. He’s a stock riser and a reliable receiver. We’ve watched DeHart up close playing for Sooner 7 this offseason and last offseason. DeHart catches everything thrown his way. This weekend, he was at it again and made catch after catch and you can tell that he’s progressing in a big way as a prospect. And that’s why we have him on this breakdown. That, combined with

graduating after being second on Bixby’s team in receiving last fall. DeHart is the perfect replacement for Vaughn and does a lot of the same things. He’s shifty, reliable and can make a lot happen in Bixby’s offense. We’ve seen DeHart emerge as a big time player in 7v7 tourneys and he could do the same on Friday nights.

was the first prospect that really stood out to us. First off, he has the correct name to be a standout wide receiver and he caught just about everything that was thrown his way. DeHart is yet another Bixby standout that made waves this weekend. DeHart was an absolute monster after the catch. DeHart did almost all of his work in the short and intermediate passing game. After the catch, he was very slippery and would rack up the yards after the catch. We mentioned this same thing about Choctaw standout

in another report. This is 7v7 football where all the defender has to do is put their hand on you and you’re down. But DeHart identified all of the right angles on the field after the catch and would make a small play a big play. We’re looking forward to seeing more of the Bixby speedster this spring.
