#TN2025 Rankings Overview (Insider Notes)

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Our new senior rankings have dropped, so it's time to go in-depth and break everything down. Here we provide an overview on some of the biggest notes coming out of our initial TN Top 250. </h2>   - Our new #TN2025 senior rankings are finally here and it may be the deepest class we have ever had here in the great state of Tennessee! We had to start things off with the Top 250, meaning there was so much talent sitting on the board that we needed to expand our initial rankings. The beautiful thing about scouting is that new players will jump onto the radar in the coming months, forcing us to expand yet again and proving just how deep the Volunteer State truly is.    Talent galore can be found throughout the Tennessee Top 250 but everyone will look at the top, seeing who the best prospects are from the #TN2025 class. Everything starts with Brentwood Academy quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='219419' first='George' last='MacIntyre'] taking the top overall spot. The Eagles 6 '5 passer has the look and all the tools to become an elite level signal caller during his time at Tennessee and maybe beyond college ball.    Coming in ranked 2nd overall is the top defensive prospect in the state and that's Siegel defensive back [player_tooltip player_id='149392' first='Tarrion' last='Grant']. Sporting tremendous upside, Grant has the ability to become a lockdown cover corner during his time at Purdue and possibly play his way into All-American status. Carrying that same status is Lipscomb Acad. offensive guard [player_tooltip player_id='219412' first='Chauncey' last='Gooden']. Ranked 3rd overall, the Mustangs mauler is as clean as a prospect that will find in the #TN2025 class and someone that could see the field as a college true freshman.   <a href="https://prepredzone.com/tennessee/rankings/2025-rankings/">#TN2025 Prospect Rankings</a>   Rounding out the Top 5 comes with Germantown running back [player_tooltip player_id='219401' first='Jamarion' last='Morrow'] ranking 4th and Tennessee commitment, Ensworth defensive lineman [player_tooltip player_id='219447' first='Ethan' last='Utley'] coming in at fifth. Morrow is an electric ball carrier with elite burst and speed. Utley is a versatile D-lineman with good size that can handle the edge or work inside.    Dyersburg senior D-tackle [player_tooltip player_id='611975' first='Kalen' last='Edwards'] places 6th overall inside our new rankings. The Trojans big man has multiple P4 programs hot on his trail and Edwards could be a guy that moves into the Top 5 when we produce our next updated rankings.    One of the better athletes in the state, Rockvale defensive back [player_tooltip player_id='309135' first='Jaylan' last='Morgan'] ranks 7th and could be a guy that moves into the Top 5 with a strong senior season. Baylor senior tight end/receiver [player_tooltip player_id='219421' first='Cameron' last='Sparks'] claims the 8th spot inside the Top 10. McCallie safety [player_tooltip player_id='219372' first='Carson' last='Lawrence'] ranks 9th overall and is currently a highly pursued prospect, even with his commitment to Vanderbilt. Coming in ranked 10th is Page linebacker [player_tooltip player_id='390716' first='Brenden' last='Anes']. Athletic and fast with a well put together body, Anes has been committed to Wisconsin since January and remains strong with Badgers to this day.    D2-Class AAA is Loaded w/ Talent    One particular classification in D2-Class AAA has 40 players ranked inside our Tennessee Top 250 with Lipscomb Academy leading the way at eleven. The Mustangs return a talented senior class, led at top by Gooden but followed closely by several others destined for the Power Four gridiron. Safety [player_tooltip player_id='328635' first='C.J.' last='Jimcoily'] (16th), O-lineman [player_tooltip player_id='258663' first='Jon' last='Adair'] (23rd), D-lineman [player_tooltip player_id='219400' first='Antonio' last='Carter, Jr'] (25th) and [player_tooltip player_id='219367' first='Kris' last='Thompson'] (30th) place inside the Top 30.    Baylor comes in next with 8 prospects inside the Top 250. Sparks sits within the Top 10 but the Red Raiders have several others placed inside the Top 50 overall. Coming in next for Baylor is wideout [player_tooltip player_id='220241' first='Joakim' last='Dodson'] at 11th and closely followed by stud running back [player_tooltip player_id='1058887' first='Shekai' last='Mills-Knight'] (17th). O-lineman [player_tooltip player_id='219445' first='Jimmy' last='Bryson'] comes in at 20th overall and could move up in the coming months with a strong summer camp season.    Placing 6 prospects within our new #TN2025 rankings, Brentwood Academy had a down 2023 year but could be on the way up with a talented senior class. MacIntyre is the big name of course but he is complimented by several talented prospects like running back [player_tooltip player_id='219449' first='Tamari' last='Hill'] (38th), defensive back [player_tooltip player_id='219407' first='Kolbe' last='Harmon'] (43rd), receiver [player_tooltip player_id='625142' first='Neo' last='Clifton'] (57th), the top kicker in the state in [player_tooltip player_id='842848' first='London' last='Bironas'] (120th) and under the radar defensive back [player_tooltip player_id='1071176' first='Isaiah' last='Williams'] (187th).   <figure class="wp-block-image size-large is-resized"><img src="https://prepredzone.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/3/2024/02/tamhill.jpg?w=400" alt="" class="wp-image-1169221" style="width:294px;height:auto" /></figure>   The defending state champs in McCallie lost a strong senior class from last year but return several top level players that can get the Blue Tornado back into title contention. Lawrence is top name off the board but he joined inside the Top 250 by talented teammates in defensive lineman [player_tooltip player_id='1222988' first='Etison' last='Pholo'] (44th), linebacker [player_tooltip player_id='1221869' first='Bear' last='Cortes'] (133rd), safety [player_tooltip player_id='1128449' first='Sean' last='Couvertiere'] (136th) and new in-state transfer receiver [player_tooltip player_id='1207515' first='Hunter' last='Glasgow'], placing 158th overall.    Both Ensworth and Father Ryan placed four prospects a piece within the Top 250 with the Tigers having the top ranked guy in Utley. Joining the Ensworth big man in our rankings includes linebackers [player_tooltip player_id='219426' first='Sam' last='Haley'] (21st), [player_tooltip player_id='390710' first='Micah' last='Smith'] (31st) and senior hidden gem [player_tooltip player_id='1267272' first='Jack' last='Watts'] at 96th overall.    The Fighting Irish is led by safety [player_tooltip player_id='898263' first='Caiden' last='Anku'], placing 145h overall and with the chance to rise in our next rankings. He is joined by defensive teammate [player_tooltip player_id='858846' first='Mason' last='Bryant'] (215th) and offensive standouts [player_tooltip player_id='834619' first='Wyatt' last='Bakker'] (228th) and quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='1150055' first='Joseph' last='Derrick'], coming in ranked 231st overall.    - - - - -    Line of Scrimmage Leads The Way   Going through our #TN2025 senior class, what we came to find out is that the trenches is loaded with more than 40 plus prospects headed for the P4 and D1 levels along with several others with talent, sitting under the radar.    Both the offensive and defensive lines tied for the most players ranked inside the Tennessee Top 250 with 39 prospects a piece. That's 78 big men in the trenches that make up a big chunk of our initial senior rankings with two guys in Gooden and Utley sitting inside the Top Five.    The offensive line in particular is loaded for this 2025 cycle, going at least 25 to 30 deep on players that can compete on the big stage of college football. Joining Gooden, Bryson and Adair inside the Top 50 are Sevier Co. senior [player_tooltip player_id='616543' first='Otto' last='VanRensburg'] (49th) and recent Purdue commit and Antioch offensive tackle [player_tooltip player_id='250865' first='Ta'Khyian' last='Whitset'] (50th overall). It's the next stretch of players that make this year's O-line class so deep.    From the 54th ranked prospect in MUS senior [player_tooltip player_id='841185' first='Michael' last='Ray, Jr'] to the 95th ranked O-lineman in Chester Co. big man [player_tooltip player_id='832835' first='Kalvin' last='Meadows'], there are 14 guys placed on the back end of the Top 100. After Ray, Jr and in order, it goes [player_tooltip player_id='219438' first='Kyle' last='Larkin'] (60th), [player_tooltip player_id='466284' first='Kaden' last='Mowl'] (63rd), [player_tooltip player_id='466272' first='Noah' last='Hacker'] (64th), [player_tooltip player_id='466287' first='Alex' last='Boyd'] (65th), [player_tooltip player_id='1157374' first='Sam' last='Spicer'] (67th), [player_tooltip player_id='466286' first='Xander' last='McCormick'] (74th), [player_tooltip player_id='491540' first='Sam' last='Roston'] (77th), [player_tooltip player_id='1262558' first='Jayden' last='Jackson'] (80th), [player_tooltip player_id='938106' first='Bo' last='Bryan'] (81st), [player_tooltip player_id='219432' first='Judd' last='Taylor'] (83rd), [player_tooltip player_id='219378' first='Connor' last='Coffman'] (91st) and [player_tooltip player_id='219352' first='Bryson' last='Daugherty'] coming in ranked 93rd.   <figure class="wp-block-image size-large is-resized"><img src="https://prepredzone.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/3/2024/04/nhacker.jpg?w=400" alt="" class="wp-image-1242085" style="width:308px;height:auto" /></figure>   The O-line class goes much deeper as well and could grow in depth over the coming months as there are a few guys on my radar that I could see boosting their stocks with strong senior seasons.    Moving over to the other side, the defensive line may not have as much long term talent as the O-line but it's deep too nonetheless. Just inside the Top 50 alone, the D-line places 10 prospects within the rankings. After Utley and Edwards, we have several high level talents in the 20's, led by Lipscomb senior [player_tooltip player_id='219400' first='Antonio' last='Carter, Jr'] at 25th overall. Directly behind him are Jefferson Co. big man [player_tooltip player_id='504236' first='Nic' last='Moore'] (26th), Page defensive end [player_tooltip player_id='219439' first='Eric' last='Hazzard'] (27th) and Pearl Cohn lineman [player_tooltip player_id='855556' first='Kyler' last='Garcia'] (29th).    Rounding out the Top 50, Columbia Central D-lineman [player_tooltip player_id='611956' first='Jhrevious' last='Hall'] comes next, ranked 32nd overall. Right next to him is Lipscomb D-Tackle [player_tooltip player_id='323137' first='Amir' last='Leonard-Jean Charles'] at 33rd. Current Georgia commit and Humboldt nose tackle [player_tooltip player_id='403566' first='Stephon' last='Shivers'] places at 39th while McCallie senior [player_tooltip player_id='1222988' first='Etison' last='Pholo'] finishes things out at 44th overall.    The rest of the Top 100 see's six D-linemen claim spots with Mt. Juliet defensive end [player_tooltip player_id='250859' first='Atticus' last='Fiorita'] coming next at 61st. The Golden Bears edge rusher was among the top leaders in sacks last year as a junior and could take his stock to another level with a repeat performance this Fall.    Coming in at 62nd overall is Blackman big man [player_tooltip player_id='390644' first='Archie' last='Roseman']. This guy is on fire right now, landing several D1 offers and receiving interest from others. South Gibson defensive [player_tooltip player_id='848818' first='Gabe' last='Lovorn'] comes in next at 69th with another edge rusher following, placing at 72nd in Riverdale senior [player_tooltip player_id='1151465' first='J.C.' last='Haynes'].    Two defensive tackles prospects round out the Top 100 in Brentwood senior [player_tooltip player_id='820608' first='Kaiaulu' last='Micatrotto'] (88th) and Lausanne disruptor [player_tooltip player_id='467234' first='Skylan' last='Staten'] placing 92nd overall.
