Ever since the off-season started last December, Anderson has been a man on a mission to develop himself and push his game further and by the looks of his senior film, he’s definitely taken himself to another level. One of the better technique sound defensive backs from our #TN2025 class, Anderson is a worker that got bigger in the off-season and it’s paying off. He not only hit the weight room but the Blaze defender increased his skill set too by developing his lower base quickness along with his play recognition. His senior clips show a guy that reads the play well then moves to the ball quickly to tackle through his opponent.
The opposition hasn’t thrown his way too much this year but Anderson has taken advantage of every opportunity provided to him to make plays and stand out. The biggest thing I’m liking from this Murfreesboro area product right now is his willingness to tackle in run support. Anderson does a lot of work locking down his man in coverage but when he is called to tackle, he is doing his job well as he has produced three tackles for loss thus far. At this current time, Anderson is committed to Davidson and it may stay that way but don’t be surprised to see other schools get involved soon because his senior film is that good!

Anderson proved to be one of the better defensive back prospects in attendance by the end of camp and a prospect that I see taking a big step up in his recruitment over the coming months. The Blaze rising senior had a strong day from start to finish where he did well during testing then performed excellently throughout 1 on 1’s. Anderson plays hard with outstanding instincts that were on full display during his coverage work but it was his increased speed and physicality that impressed me the most. He reads and reacts quickly then uses his new found physical body to work through the receivers. These next few months will dictate where this Murfreesboro area prospect lands on the college level with his continued development and off-season work.

Anderson has been on my radar for many years now but last Saturday in Murfreesboro was probably one of his better performances I have seen yet out of this Blackman rising senior yet. It all started with testing where Anderson did well then he moved into positional work where he looked sharp, technique sound and understanding of the directions being told to him. The Blaze defender then moved into 1 on 1 competition where he performed very well. His ability to stay on path with the receiver while making a quick reaction based off the quarterback was impressive. The way Anderson plays tells me he would be a perfect fit at safety or nickel back where he can play against the run while making plays versus the pass. His performance Saturday should go a long way towards pushing his recruitment further down the line.
