We had multiple options to choose from for statewide player of the week but Hill is the guy we felt deserved this honor after going down to Texas and being a major force behind the Patriots 52-48 victory over Anna High School. Oakland leaned heavily on their run game last Friday and it shined as they had multiple 200 yard rushers but Hill was near unstoppable. He was efficient with his work by producing big yards then made four of his twenty two carries finish in the end zone. Hill is a dynamic player that brings speed to the backfield but can also catch it too and do it from the slot if needed. His stock is certainly rising, so expect more performances like this moving forward.

Claiming the number three spot on my list is Tamari Hill Tamari Hill 5'10" | 180 lbs | RB/WR Oakland | 2025 State TN , a running back at Brentwood Academy. Hill stands out with his size and electric speed, proving he can punch through the defensive line as well as get open for the pass. I also like how Hill can utilize his strength to bully the defense and quickly get open for the deep pass in crucial moments.

Athletic and elusive with an initial quick burst, Hill is one of the more explosive backs we have in this year’s class but also a versatile talent that could line up in the slot at receiver as well. The Eagles senior offensive weapon has the kind of speed that can take a short gain into a long run and change the aspect of a game within an instant. If this year’s running back class wasn’t so deep, Hill would sit higher within the position rankings but whoever lands this guy will be getting a dynamic playmaker that has yet to take on a full load in the backfield. Plenty of juice resides inside this Mid-Tennessee prospect as I definitely see his best days ahead of him, which should be on the Power Four level.
