, a quarterback/athlete at Oakland Middle School. Johnson was locked in from start to finish, showcasing excellent arm strength and accuracy. I also really liked how Johnson could utilize his footwork and speed off the snap. Another aspect of Johnson’s playstyle that caught my attention was his ability to quickly scan the backfield and complete the challenging deep pass.

is a talented quarterback with a strong arm that can push the ball downfield in an efficient manner, which allowed Oakland Middle School team to generate a lot of explosive plays.
He is currently undersized, but that has not affected his arm talent and the plays he can make with both his arms and legs. As he continues to grow and add weight to his frame, he could become a dynamic quarterback prospect in the state of Tennessee.

came in at Quarterback and immediately made an impact with his dual-threat ability.
Another one of the Tennessee Future Stars’ tri-Offensive MVP award winners, the All-Rutherford County prospect quickly showed exactly why I feel that he’s one of the most exciting 2030 prospects in the state to watch. With Kentucky likely still reeling from the Aukerman’s haymaker, Johnson hit the defense with body blows on a well-executed 65-yard, seven-play scoring drive. Oakland Middle School’s QB1 showed off his arm and lethal legs by capping off the drive with a well-executed bootleg for a touchdown.
Paced by a well-coached game, Johnson’s ability to hurt the defense with his legs kept Kentucky off balance.

, an athlete/quarterback at Oakland Middle School. What impresses me about Johnson’s playstyle is his ability to remain composed under pressure, utilize strong footwork in the pocket and quickly scan the backfield for an open target. Johnson also stands out with his arm strength and accuracy, showing off his ability to connect with his receivers in stride.

, an athlete/quarterback at Oakland Middle School. Johnson caught my attention during positional drills, proving his ability to execute with efficiency at the helm of the offense. On top of great arm strength and accuracy, what made Johnson so explosive under center was his ability to quickly scan the field and be consistent with his passes.

As only a seventh-grader, Johnson helped lead Oakland Middle School to its second consecutive and fifth Rutherford County Championship since 2019. The PRZ Next Middle School Exposure Camp alumni, showed that the Oakland dynasty is in good hands with the young QB by picking up an Honorable Mention All-Region nod. The talented righty told me he became the first seventh-grade Quarterback in school history to lead Oakland to the the Conference Title with their 22-6 win over Lavergne.

It was a Sour Patch Kid kind of day for Johnson, against the 6th grade Kentucky Future Stars. He made a couple sour plays, including a near interception and overthrowing a wide open receiver in the end zone with 4:35 left in the first half. However, he also made some really sweet, impressive plays that provided a glimpse into what could be coming in the future at perennial powerhouse Oakland Middle School. When Johnson had time and was settled he has the ability to deliver a nicely thrown ball, including the lone Tennessee touchdown pass to

. Like most QBs at this level, there were some accuracy things work in, but he’s a ball player. Perhaps the most impressive thing about Johnson, was his dual-threat ability. He could take off in the blink of an eye and pick up positive yards, despite looking dead to rights in the backfield. (*Article edited from original posting).
