Michael Ekezie Michael Ekezie Michael Ekezie 6'3" | 255 lbs | OL Oakland | 2028 TN is a versatile offensive lineman at Oakland. He has seen time at tackle and guard, but I think his best upside is on the interior. He’s seen playing time with the Patriots, but that’s kicked up a notch with him being a starter in 2026.

He has nice size, standing 6-foot-3 and weighing 265 pounds with a well-built frame. Ekezie is physical, has powerful hands, uses his leverage well, climbs to the second level efficiently, keeps his head on a swivel and is a high football IQ guy. I’d like to see him grow and become better in pass blocking, but he fits the bill of a good offensive guard.

For the sixth time since 2012, Oakland Middle School claimed the Rutherford County Middle School Athletic Association championship this past season. The Patriots had a number of talented prospects and they needed every one of them to defeat Blackman Middle School 8-6 in a double OT thriller for the conference title. One of those talented prospects for the Patriots was All-County offensive tackle, Michael Ekezie Michael Ekezie Michael Ekezie 6'3" | 255 lbs | OL Oakland | 2028 TN . Ekezie is listed at 6-foot and 245 pounds but plays significantly bigger than that. While I obviously haven’t seen it with my own eyes, he claims at 225-pound bench press, 300+ squad and 400+ deadlift. Watching him maul people it wouldn’t shock me if those numbers were accurate. Ekezie was arguably the top offensive lineman on a team that saw both is starting half back and fullback earn All-County honors–that doesn’t happen without the bigs up front.
