The impact Miller had on his Mustangs team from both sides of the ball was critical in their 6A title appearance, especially on offense where he had 53 receptions for 1,166 yards and 13 touchdowns. Miller was an absolute game changer for the Mustangs offense last Fall as opposing defensive backs had a hard time keeping him front. His speed and ability to make tough catches proved to be a difference maker for Houston and a big factor behind their deep playoff run. Miller will start his college career on the JuCo level at Hinds Community College but don’t be surprised if one day you see this Memphis area receiver playing on the D1 level.

Coming off an appearance in the 6A title game, Miller continued his strong postseason play in Clarksville where this Memphis area wideout was one of the better pass catchers in the East vs. West game and one of the top overall playmakers. The Mustangs receiver didn’t produce a touchdown but Miller put his team in position to score several times with multiple big catches, using his athleticism and speed to get into the open field. East team defensive backs had a hard time keeping Miller in front of them. His ability to get off the snap and into his routes quickly should be a key trait that appeals to college coaches. I believe this undersized receiver would be a good addition to someone’s roster and a guy that could develop further into a potential D1 guy down the road.

is a super-talented prospect out of Houston who has made some massive impacts in both their passing game and their secondary as a wide receiver/free safety. Miller is explosive wherever he lines up, he has some really impressive speed and acceleration that allow him to get off the line of scrimmage and downfield within seconds. It’s really impressive watching Miller at WR- he runs some excellent routes, gains separation constantly, and can outrun entire defenses with his speed. When the ball is in his hands, it’s seriously hard to stop him. At FS, Miller has some great play recognition and anticipation that he uses to quickly adjust and fly across the field to make plays. Frequently on tape, Miller finds himself around the ball- consistently breaking up/picking off passes and making tackles. Recently Miller has picked up offers from Boston College, Austin Peay, UT Martin, and more. Keep an eye on him this fall- he’s an electric player set up for a massive senior season!
