is a stud defensive lineman out of Houston High School with the versatility to play edge and interior DL. One of the best DL’s in the state of Tennessee, Hagan wins with power and leverage to create disruption versus the run and pass. Against the run, he shows good gap discipline and is a solid force defender. Hagan resets the line of scrimmage with a strong initial punch with good placement to get complete control of OL. When pass rushing, he is a high effort player with good instincts and can grow as a player when he adds to his pass rush repertoire.

Looking over this year’s crop of defensive linemen, Hagan is one guy who sports the mobility and physical look to become a highly recruited prospect but he has yet to touch his potential. Standing 6’3 240 plus pounds along with a background in rugby, Hagan is a physical dude who shows on film quickness off the ball and the lower base agility to rush the backfield from a variety of areas across the defensive line. The Mustangs junior defender has the lean look to work the edge along with active hands and a nice burst that opposing offensive linemen have a problem dealing with. While having these traits and upside, Hagan has yet to put it all together but maybe after another off-season of development, this West Tennessee product is due for a big breakout junior campaign.
