His older brother, Chandler Day Chandler Day 6'2" | 200 lbs | QB Houston | 2025 State TN , is a 2025 quarterback that led Houston to a State Championship this year and earned All-State honors in the process. Little brother Canon was arguably equally as impressive, as he led the Mustangs to an 8-1 record this year and accounted for 50 total touchdowns – 26 rushing and 24 through the air. Canon will have a year to sit behind his brother before he gets the keys to the whip, but there are very bright Days (pun intended) ahead.

Day had a phenomenal season as a dual-threat quarterback and scorched teams with both his legs and his strong right arm. Ran the RPO to near perfection out of the shotgun formation. Right now, has D1 projections from me in both football and baseball. I don’t claim to know baseball nearly as well as I do football, but all signs point to him having options as he progresses into high school and the recruiting process inevitably begins.
