Chris Smith | Prep Redzone Scout
The third Mustangs big man to be ranked inside the Top Ten, Hacker may have some of the best upside of all O-linemen from the #TN2025 class as he sports the size and athletic skills to develop nicely in college at right tackle. This Nashville native has the look of a college guy as Hacker stands 6’7 270 pounds with a great frame to pack on more size along with great arm length. What stands out the most for me about this 6’7 big man is his athletic lower base as well as his hand work. Hacker does a good job of moving his feet and getting into position to take on the rush while showing patient hands. Everything points to Hacker being a true right tackle but if he can continue working on his explosion and quickness, maybe becoming a swing tackle could be in his future.

Tall and long with an outstanding frame to put on more weight, Hacker is a long term upside prospect with the potential to play tackle on the next level, maybe even handling the blind side for his quarterback. The Mustangs rising junior gained experience last year as a sophomore, playing on a stacked offensive line and learning on the job but this Fall, Hacker will be stepping into a starting role, so much will be known about this 6’7 big man by the end of the year. What I like most about Hacker is his long arms, that keep defenders at bay along with his feet that show pass blocking upside. He needs to keep packing on the weight while continuing to develop his craft but all the physical traits are there to become a highly recruited D1, possible Power Five prospect.
