Expert Analysis
Sam Erman | Prep Redzone Scout
Corey looked sharp at camp and backed up the buzz around him. He’s got a solid build and looks ahead of schedule development-wise. Working with X-Factor QB has helped and will be one of the tools in his bag. His throwing motion is smooth, he’s accurate to all levels, and the timing is already there. He hasn’t even taken over as the full-time starter yet, but it seems pretty clear he will be a stud once the lights come on this fall.

Corey is very physically impressive and has the build of an upperclassman. I wouldn’t have been able to put a face to a name if I hadn’t seen him in person, because I wasn’t anticipating his frame being that well-built. He looks good on the field, has command on the field when he’s running the show, and is in a competition for the starting gig. Whether or not he wins it this fall, I don’t know yet, but the talent is undeniable.

Corey is a lefty quarterback with a legit 6’3″, 210-pound frame and a big arm to match. He towers over the line and sees the field well, making quick decisions and getting the ball out on time. He throws a clean deep ball with plenty of touch and can drive it when needed. While he’s built like a classic pocket passer, he’s a sneaky good athlete who can move when he needs to. He’s comfortable on the rollout and can extend plays or pick up yards with his legs, giving him real dual-threat potential.

Woody was another impressive Class of 2028 quarterbacks who turned heads at the PRZ Midwest Middle School Showcase. The 6’0, 197 lbs 8th grade already has the size and the arm strength of a high school quarterback. He dominated in 1-on-1’s, accurately throwing the ball on a variety of routes. As he continues to grows over the next 4 years, the Indiana native is sure to make a name for himself throughout both Indiana and the rest of Midwest.
