Formerly out of Lipscomb Academy HS in Nashville, Tennessee, Jackson Kilburg Jackson Kilburg 6'3" | 220 lbs | QB Kent School | 2025 State New E announced three weeks ago his transfer to The Kent School. Kilburg will not be reclassifying, however, he plans to play his final year of HS ball at TKS, which makes sense considering he’s already a prominent quarterback prospect. Dating back to early 2023, Kilburg has accumulated scholarship offers out of UAB, Eastern Kentucky, Memphis, and Marshall. We cover plenty of transfer and reclass kids, not often you see one of this caliber move out of state. Huge news for the Kent School.

Much like his teammate at Lipscomb Academy, Kilburg has little experience thus far in his high school career but the talent is there and college coaches have already taken notice. A big guy behind center, Kilburg has the physical makeup to compete on the next level along with the passing tools to sustain but needs time to continue developing before he reaches his maximum capabilities. Kilburg has definitely been after it this off-season, hitting up as many camps as possible to learn but also display his potential. It will be a battle with Shaffer to see who will lead the Mustangs this season but Kilburg has the chops to become the guy and push his stock even further.

Coming into the PRZTN Showcase holding multiple D1 offers, Kilburg lived up to hype not only sporting college size but a strong arm that will continue to develop over the coming months. A high character young man with a bright future, Kilburg threw the ball well throughout the camp, displaying nice accuracy and good ball placement along with the upside to drive the ball down the field. The biggest thing I wanted to see from Kilburg was his footwork and ability to move in the pocket and he showed enough to me in that area to prove that he can handle the rush on the next level. Kilburg has a long road to go before he becomes the best he can be but the potential is definitely there to become the starter at Lipscomb Academy and watch his recruitment explode over the next year.
