It’s not a surprise at this point, but once again, Samari Matthews Samari Matthews 6'0" | 180 lbs | DB William A. Hough | 2026 State NC had a great game in shutting down a team’s top receiver, holding them to zero catches in the game. Samari truly cuts the field in half from a pass coverage perspective, and most teams don’t even bother throwing his direction. Samari showed great coverage concepts in both zone and man looks, and he’ll be an important piece as the Huskies get ready to play for a state championship.
