The big interior offensive line prospect is also new to the Hough program, but he definitely isn’t new to recruiting. Nori has been one of our higher-rated offensive linemen in the 2027 class for a couple of years, and he’s had interest all over the board from different schools. After playing at Independence the last few years, White should fill some holes nicely for some talented guys who graduated last season up front for the Huskies. If they play him at guard, expect some big gaps developed by his run blocking up front.
As far as the recruiting commitment, Nori ended up choosing James Madison University, a school where I think he will definitely have the chance to play early and impress coaches both on and off campus. With Nori’s massive size at 6’6 and over 320 pounds, with a strong freshman season, he could easily be a candidate to transfer up to a bigger school, if that’s one of his long-term goals. As it stands now, he’s one of the best offensive linemen in the state set for a big senior year.

Switching schools from Independence to Hough in light of a coaching change at Independence was a big story, mainly because everyone locally knows how good a talent Nori is, and going to the reigning state champions really helps them in their efforts to repeat. Nori is really impressive in his run blocking, and when he gets his hands on a defender in the run game, it’s usually lights out pretty quickly. I’m interested to see how much Nori grows under the tutelage of the Huskies’ coaching staff.

This is a big pickup for Hough first and foremost, as they lost some talented offensive linemen to graduation and college football. Nori is a pancake machine between the white lines, and he’s improved over the past couple of years with his footwork and athleticism in pass protection as well.

I wanted to start with the offensive line for the Patriots because they set the physical tone Independence would play with all night long. Nori, from his left tackle position, was dominant all night. I don’t remember seeing him get beat on a pass rush attempt all night, and he had several impressive pancake blocks in the running game. Nori’s size is impressive to see up close and in person, and I expect him to.be a highly sought after recruit from a college football perspective before things are over for him in high school.

Nori has received 4 Division 1 offers so far in his career, the latest coming from Syracuse. I had a chance to see Nori live, and you quickly see why colleges get excited – Nori’s size and athleticism are very impressive to watch up close. Nori doesn’t have a lot of film out there, but once you see how well he moves in the run game, gets his hands on defenders, and ability to work second level to cut off linebackers, you get very excited about his potential not only for the next two years but on the college level as well.
