St. John Bosco tackle King Large King Large King Large 6'5" | 295 lbs | OL St. John Bosco | 2024 State CA announced his commitment to SMU last Monday.

Large was one of the best offensive linemen I saw at the Under Armour Next Camp in April.

He chose SMU over 19 other schools that offered him including Cal, Oregon and San Diego State. He also visited Colorado State in addition to SMU.

Large is the first player from California in SMU’s 2024 recruiting class and the second offensive lineman in the class.

What stood out about Large was his ability to win most of his reps at both tackle and when playing on the interior.

He has the length to be a tackle at the next level and also has good footwork as an interior guy. He is strong and the defensive linemen had trouble getting any leverage against him.
