For the first time in three years, there will not be a gunslinger with the last name “Raiola” in town, as both Dylan and Dayton are now off to college and with the Oregon Ducks. Hunter is one of the more intriguing players, as he will have the most pressure out of anyone on this list. That being as the wolves didn’t just win the state title, but also the national championship. Hunter has all the talent one could want, and if he is given the opportunity to succeed, he will. Make sure to keep tabs on him.

Hunter was a smooth operator as a technician with total command of the offense. His refined mechanics were poetry in motion — balanced base, classic over-the-top release, and repeatable delivery. He showcased his full toolbox, pushing the deep ball effortlessly while working intermediate concepts with anticipation and precision placement.
In the quick game, he was decisive and efficient, rarely hesitating on reads. He throws one of the purest deep balls in the tournament — high-arching, catchable, and on time. Perhaps most impressive was his decision-making; he consistently protected the football and rarely put it in harm’s way. Hunter controlled the pace and never looked rattled.

A transfer from Tennessee who is hoping to land the starting job at Buford this fall, Hunter is a talented gunslinger with impressive footwork and the ability to launch the football accurately down the field. He brings good size, he’s mobile, and has some of the best arm talent you’ll find in Georgia for the 2027 class. He’s a gifted junior quarterback currently committed to the Kentucky Wildcats and enters the latest rankings as the No. 65 overall prospect in the state.

Adequate size at 6’2 195 with room to pack on weight. (+) Slick, smooth athlete who flashes a hot motor to escape chaos. Has the speed to be more than just a chain mover with his legs. Utilizes his juice mostly to create space for himself to launch. Elastic, quick arm action. Can push the ball while working off-platform and dealing with pressure at his face. Generates off-script wow plays. Flashes of good pocket play when he stands in there. Has requisite arm strength to drive the ball into tight windows, but will need to keep his release quick to do so. (-) Will hold onto ball too long, letting backside pressure get home. Timing-based misfires with receivers on occasion in the short areas.
Power Statement: Hunter is a silky smooth athlete playing the QB spot who embraces action when the play breaks down. He has a hot motor to escape chaos and pairs that with an elastic enough arm to make wow throws. Will need to play more on time with his receivers in the drop-back passing game, but the flashes indicate he is capable of picking up chunk plays in the air if he can be reigned in. He pairs that with athleticism, making him a true dual threat.

is another athlete who dominates on both sides of the ball. As another quarterback coming out of the Volunteer state, here is why DJ needs to be on your radar. DJ is one of the most consistent quarterbacks that I have seen when it comes to hitting his targets between quick game and drop back route concepts. In quick game, DJ has a quick release that helps with his timing and protecting him self from the defensive pass rush. DJ also forces his opponents leverage to work against them with his precise ball placement. When he is dropping back, DJ is a kid that can put the ball anywhere on the field and hit his receivers in places where only they can catch. He also has impressive arm strength that helps him push the ball downfield for chunk plays. This Memphis Area quarterback has an incredible level of potential. With all of the work that he has put in, it will only be a matter of time before he realizes his potential. I am very excited to see how DJ grows in the game of football. Heck, not many 2027 signal callers around the country can claim varsity time before high school.

Another very exciting Quarterback prospect to know in the Volunteer State. As an eighth-grader, has both regular season and playoff varsity Quarterback experience at Memphis Academy of Science and Engineering (MASE). Billed at 5-foot-11 and 170-pounds, he’s an impressive athlete that can also make plays on defense.

DJ is one of the better quarterbacks that I have watched coming out of this class. In fact, the eighth-graders already has varsity time under his belt. Hailing from the state of Tennessee, DJ seems to have a very natural and smooth throwing motion when he is throwing out of the pocket. With that, DJ has no problem coupling range with accuracy. With his down field throws, DJ shows to do a very good job placing the ball for his receivers to make a play on it. With DJ’s short to intermediate throws, he does a very good job letting the routes develop, making reads, and allowing his receivers to get open. His ball placement on his throws also allows the wideouts to not only get the ball, but continue to run after the catch has been made. DJ is showing that he could find himself on recruiting boards as a quarterback, very soon. I am excited to watch DJ grow and progress through his career.
