One of the state’s top young linebackers, Wyatt made a significant jump in the latest Prep Redzone rankings after turning heads last fall as a sophomore for one of the best best teams across the county. Playing alongside many Power Four caliber defenders, Wyatt still made an impact in his second season, securing 38 tackles and one sack to go along with another fumble recovery. He plays hard, hits behind his pads, and should be one of the leaders of the Buford defense next fall as a junior. His recruitment took off this spring and more Power Four offers are likely coming his way.

Wyatt had a flashy fall for Buford last year, which has bled into an offseason where he generated consistent P4 attention. Wyatt is a physical player packed into his frame and built beyond his years. He is up to 6’2 215 with impressive pop and physicality against contact. I love his pursuit to the ball, patiently clicking downhill and mirroring the ball carrier before he drives downhill. Remember the name, because he will be a fun one to follow the next few years.

Now listed at 6’2 205, Wyatt has all the tools to be future star at LB for the Wolves. He has outstanding vision in the middle and reacts to the ball quickly. Lean, athletic frame that has the potential to carry 20+ more pounds. Aggressive tackler whose love for laying a big hit is evident in his highlights.
What Stands Out: Range of motion and his quickness to the ball. His film shows excellent speed sideline to sideline and excellent tackling technique.
Outlook: A future starter for the Wolves and a can’t miss D1 prospect. The University of Arkansas and Southern Miss have already extended offers and the list will be long over the next 3 years.
