does not sit still long enough to allow grass to grown under his feet. He is a four sport elite athlete. His pedigree speaks for itself as well. I had the pleasure to line up across from his pops in the NFL and he is the real deal and has the big boy ring to prove it. McCleon Jr. is easily pushing the envelope so he can step out of dads shadow and continue his own legacy of success. With rare talent like his, the sky is the limit. He already earned a golden ticket to play in the UA All-American game as a wide receiver, but he has film playing some slot/tight end and defensive end on defense. The kids fast twitch and long stride puts him behind defenders and the precise route running ability and attention to detail separates him in this class. There are many gifted players out there, but when you add work ethic like McCleon Jr. on top of his God given abilities, it’s a wrap! Expect him to have his choice of Universities in multiple sports when its all said and done.

The most legitimate two-sport star I’ve seen so far in this 2028 class,

earned an invitation to the UA Next Game as a Wide Receiver. He’s listed at 6-foot-2 and 180-pounds and my goodness, he looks like a can’t miss. His father, Dexter Sr., played in the NFL for 10 seasons and won a Super Bowl with the Rams in 2000–but was also drafted by the Minnesota Twins in baseball. Dexter Jr. is on the same trajectory, as one of the most elite athletes in the country, in both sports. He’ll be a Buford Wolf.

If the name sounds familiar, it’s for good reason. He’s the son of Dexter McCleon (Sr.) who was actually drafted in both baseball and football, before ultimately deciding to pursue football. While pops may have the distinction of playing in a Super Bowl, Jr. is the one that has a huge athletic career in front of him. At 6-foot-1 and 170-pounds right now he’s arguably the top baseball player in the country for the class of 2028. On top of that, he’s an elite football player too. He shines as a Wide Receiver/Tight End/Defensive End for Buford. Physically, he has the same genetics as his Dad, which puts him in an elite company. McCleon is going to be a special athlete for years to come.
