Despite not fully breaking out on the varsity scene, Hurst has several P4 offers under his belt and should continue developing into a premier receiver in GA’s 2028 class. Having seen him work on the 7v7 and camp circuit, there is certainly reason to get excited about him. He is all of 6’3 165 and has room to get bigger. He already has a big catch radius, but shows the physical edge to fight for positioning and go up through contact to high point the ball. His contested catch ability should translate and generate plenty of attention over the next few years.

passed the eye test at WR and produced as well. He is listed at 6’2 160 with grass-scraping length. He holds his weight well and has plenty of space to add more mass. He was an impressive leaper, consistently beating defenders vertically and making acrobatic catches in the air. He is a smooth strider who eats cushion with a few steps. He is still growing into his frame and should add more twitch as he becomes more comfortable with his frame. Hurst is a prototype jump-ball threat who should generate P4 buzz in the future.

reminds me of a young Dez Bryant (former Dallas Cowboys WR) with his build, physicality, and fight for yards after the catch. He is not just a possession receiver. Put the ball up and he will come down with it and get you more. His speed is tricky because of how long he is, but Hurst rarely gets caught because it takes two to three steps for his one. I also like how he concentrates on the nose of the ball securing the catch with all hands. Next to his hoop dreams, this kid has a future playing wide out.
