McCoy is one of the standout running backs at Buford, and was the best running back in the game overall. He had multiple huge plays and was a difference maker in my book. I continue to believe he is one of the better players in the state at the position. He is on his way to the NC State Wolfpack, where he could contribute day one.

Another highly recruited Buford Wolve that depending on the amount of work could easily eclipse the 1000 yard mark in ’25. Outstanding All Purpose back with good hands out of the backfield. Physical kid that does a great job running between the tackles. The former B2C running back of the year is a big contributor on both sides of the ball for the Wolves and has 11 reported offers including UK, Ole Miss and most recently Indiana.

Outlook

A great combo with Green and McCoy in the backfield in ’25 for Buford. Depending on the amount of work for each you could see two 1000 yard rushers. McCoy will have success at the P4 level.
