Matt DeBary | Prep Redzone Scout
A big-bodied tight end with a long, athletic 6-foot-7 230-pound frame, Rashad is a punishing blocker with soft hands who can be a mismatch in the field of the field. He plays hard ands has easy Power Four size. He’s a promising pass-catcher with his best football in front of him. He’s also a weapon in the red-zone and will have an opportunity to do that in Chapel Hill. One of the top tight end prospects in Gwinnett County, Rashad made his decision on Signing Day to play for North Carolina, choosing the Tar Heels over Purdue and N.C State.

Rashad is a very interesting prospect that is highly under rated on this list. He has grown 2 inches and added 40 pounds since this profile update and now stands an imposing 6’6 230. He recently made the move to powerhouse Buford for the 2025 campaign. Rashad has the size and skill to play multiple positions besides QB including TE and LB. No matter where he lines up this Fall he will be a difference maker for the Wolves.
Dozens of programs have already taken notice of his talent and Rashad is a can’t miss stock riser in 2025.

When I watched Rashad’s tape last year, I saw a huge QB that was still refining his delivery and getting a grasp of the position. Now, it looks like he could be starting to turn the corner in his development. He is listed at a massive 6’6 210 and is well filled out. He coils the ball around the ear, which shortened up his previously long delivery. He appears in more control of the football and has the arm strength to power the ball into any tight window. Each throw just had a different sound to it when it got to WRs. Rashad should fully break the varsity seal this fall for Mountain View.
