Green is one of the better players in the state of Georgia when it comes to being a two-way player. Green is a defensive back, and he will likely play that at the next level, but he made the most strides in the quarterfinals at the running back position. In a near 150-yard game, he showed that even with a small amount of carries, he can make the most of his opportunities. Green is someone who has the chance to be a star moving forward, as another big game like this, he will be taking his team to the state title game.

Green, a UGA DB commit, is versatile and makes plays on both sides of the ball for Buford. He is built strong into his 6’0 195 frame and would be ready to go today at the next level. He makes a lot of plays at RB, where he is a clear dynamic size/speed threat who can play on every down. As a DB, he is physical downhill and offers plenty as a run defender. His combination of size, athleticism, and downhill physicality is what sets the intrigue for him as an S prospect, which is where he projects at UGA.

enters his senior season in 2025 as one of the most exciting players on the Buford Wolves’ roster. A versatile 6’0″, 195-pound athlete, Green showcased his incredible talents during his junior year, rushing for 527 yards and 8 touchdowns on just 77 carries. He also caught 6 passes for 59 yards, proving his ability to contribute in multiple facets of the game. But Green’s impact isn’t limited to offense—he also recorded 5 interceptions as a defensive back, making him a two-way threat that opposing teams must account for. His playmaking ability on both sides of the ball makes him a key piece for Buford’s success in 2025.
A four-star recruit ranked the 6th-best athlete nationally by Rivals, Green is already drawing attention from some of the top college programs in the country. His combination of size, speed, and football IQ makes him a dynamic weapon for Buford’s offense, and he’ll be relied upon to make big plays throughout the season. With his ability to break tackles and accelerate past defenders on offense, along with his ball-hawking skills in the secondary, Green will be one of the most important players in Buford’s pursuit of another state title in 2025.

Green is a highly recruited DB prospect, nabbing 5 interceptions last season, but has the potential to make a name on the offensive side of the ball in ’25. A natural athlete with outstanding vision and explosiveness. Green is able to change direction on a dime and has the ability to out run the defense when he gets by them. A track standout that should run a sub 11.0 in the 100m this Spring.
Outlook
There is a lot of talent in the Buford back field and depending on the amount of work he gets he could eclipse the 1000 yards rushing mark in ’25. Dynamic athlete that is worth the price of admission to watch him on both side of the ball.

One of the best pure athletes not only in Gwinnett County but across the state, Green is electric with the ball in his hands offensively who can turn around and cover impressive receivers in the secondary. No matter where he’s lined up, Green has the ability to make a big play. He shows terrific instincts on defense that allowed him to make 28 tackles for a strong Buford defense. He also picked off five passes, showing why he’s one of the best natural athletes in the state. On offense, Green is dangerous with the ball and took off for 527 yards and 8 touchdowns. Now, he’s ranked by Prep Redzone as the No. 3 ATH and the No. 34 overall prospect in the state.

Green one-cut runner with enough speed to threaten the edge and who shows good burst to plant and get upfield when the hole is there. Gets defenders to overcommit to flowing laterally and is able to work back inside and find yardage. Makes solid cuts to find rushing lanes from the backfield, and vision is good enough to recognize opportunities to make something out of nothing.
