Coaches I’ve spoken to have flirted with the idea of him rushing the passer at some point, I think keeping him at DB or OLB should maximize the young man’s potential. Shamir Johnson Shamir Johnson 6'0" | 180 lbs | DB St. Joseph's Prep | 2024 State PA was left on an island along the boundary on a multitude of reps. Johnson can be trusted to play on or off man coverage, even against elite competition. Smooth feet laterally off release. Was in constant winning position. Physical enough to drive kids off their routes, especially early on in the rep. He didn’t show off his capabilities of running with guys downfield, only because he didn’t have to. Johnson was more than willing to step up and make open-field tackles too. Good outing by the young man.

Anthony Sacca Anthony Sacca 6'4" | 220 lbs | LB St. Joseph's Prep | 2025 State PA toyed with his matchups, easily disengaging and shedding would-be blockers when coming down from his safety spot. Elite play recognition had Sacca in the right place at the right time more often than not. The Hawks didn’t need the best out of Sacca on this night, yet he still flashed why he’s one of the more coveted prospects in all of Pennsylvania.

A big part of me wants to name Anthony Sacca Anthony Sacca 6'4" | 220 lbs | LB St. Joseph's Prep | 2025 State PA the best prospect in the class of 2025. I was very close to doing so this past off-season. Sacca’s sophomore tape has me leaning in that direction again. Sacca, a 6’4 safety prospect, has no business running and defending the pass the way he does. Excellent play recognition from his safety alignment, some of the best I’ve seen regardless of class. His ability to sniff out runs based on the flow of the offensive line is special. His route recognition is equally special. His reaction to early releases within 5 yards of the LOS allows him to get a quick feel for passing concepts heading his way. Great hands, great form when tackling. No doubt in my mind this kid could translate to OLB/EDGE sometime in the future. Sacca is a dominant prospect whose confidence has never been higher. Throwing his way, running his way, you’re going to have a tough time.
