is the lead horse in the running back stable, not by a wide margin I might mention. The Ohio State commit has been bottled up a bit, this before his 100-yard game against Good Counsel this past weekend. West might’ve not hit the century mark against Erasmus Hall, yet the senior back scored four times in the match-up. A 50-yard burst would be the long, with West’s other three scores coming from inside the ten-yard line.
West is SJP’s main scoring weapon, averaging 2 rushing touchdowns a game through three, while also tacking on a score through the air. The road back to a State Championship likely falls on West’s shoulders. I expect him to pull through.

is not only a sought after recruit in the state of PA but in the nation. He has been picking up offers for a while now. Penn State gave him his first offer back on 5/21/22. He was then offered by UConn (5/24/22), Boston College (5/24/22), WVU (5/25/22), Michigan State (5/1/23), Pitt (5/17/23), Wisconsin (5/19/23), Nebraska (5/19/23), V-Tech (9/30/23), Kentucky (12/5/23), North Carolina (1/13), Syracuse (1/18), South Carolina (1/18), Indiana (2/1), Minnesota (2/21).
West was originally committed to Kentucky. He re-opened his commitment on 5/13 before taking an Official Visit to Ohio State 6/14-6/16. On that visit the Buckeyes offered West and he committed to Ohio State University. His recruitment was another fun one to watch and I cannot wait to see him playing under the lights in Columbus!

. Offer landed out of Indiana, with Coach Sunseri sweeping through important programs in the state. Offer landed out of Syracuse, the SJP back fitting what Fran Brown and staff look for in a back. Offer landed out of Kentucky back in Decemeber, with West showcasing his recent visit to Lexington this past weekend. West also took a visit to North Carolina to start the year. Pete Lembo, before leaving South Carolina, also reached out to West in the form of a scholarship offer. All of this in the month of January/early February. Busy man.
