Expert Analysis
Pat Weider | Prep Redzone Scout
Ramier Hardy is an elite-level athlete for St. Joseph’s Prep who makes a ton of plays at wide receiver. He is a dynamic player when he gets his hands on the ball. He runs good routes and catches the ball well in space. When he is one-on-one with a defender, he has the speed to make defenders miss. Hardy is committed to Temple, and they are getting a good player.
MY FAVORITE INTERVIEW OF YEAR?
It’s @SJPrep_Football WR Rameir Hardy

After sitting in the freezing cold for 3 hours with rain beating down on me and my right hand starting to go numb from the cold, last thing I needed to do was pull teeth. This guy took the ball & ran with it. pic.twitter.com/TxtVNMQg67

The most physically imposing wideout at the event. Can blend stride and length with strength and nuanced route running. The Northeast is finally coming around to all things

, with the FCS schools present all inquiring on Hardy’s skill set a bit deeper with me. Turner was juiced up, and Diaz destroyed the combine portion of this event, yet Hardy was as advertised. An unstoppable matchup for DBs, Hardy consistently caught the ball away from his body while maintaining separation. Ranked inside the Top Five at his position for a reason.

4. Wingmen
The best pair of hands at the event, plain and simple. Couldn’t keep up with the amount of TDs scored, the same goes for XPs and catches overall. Charlie Foulke got to work with Hardy, the two clicking and making things look easy. Hardy’s frame makes him a nightmare in this setting, especially inside of 10-15 yards. Hardy and Foulke working pylon comeback routes on the move was a thing of beauty. Watching Hardy carry his weight like a butterfly had me shaking my head each and every time the duo worked this route. A variation of said route has Hardy showing comeback, then releasing to the back pylon. Foulke and Hardy could have scored on any DB at this event working this route concept. When Hardy wasn’t making kids look silly from a technical standpoint, he was bullying defenders physically. Often too big and too strong for DBs to deter him at the catch point, or throughout the duration of his route, early or late. The alpha of the event, double-digit touchdowns scored between two days. Glad I got to see him work up close, always a pleasure.

, who has yet to be offered a scholarship to my knowledge, recently picked up a UConn JDI, one he accepted and attended this past weekend. Hardy also has intentions to visit Monmouth University the day this piece releases. Both programs showing legitiate interest.

Not sure If I’ve ever given a higher ranking to an upperclassman without any offers to his name. I will preface this by saying, I’m assuming Hardy doesn’t have an opportunity yet solely off of social media. I wouldn’t be surprised to find out he might have some behind closed doors. Hardy leapfrogged eight other wideouts, many of which already have Power Five offers to their name and landed at the two spot, one spot behind PCL counterpart

. From my outside perspective, I’d imagine much of Hardy’s future in terms of recruitment falls on how he tests in front of important decision-makers. If I know anything about the SJP coaching staff, I know they’ll have this young man suited and ready to go in terms of harnessing his full athletic potential. I have a strong feeling Power Fives will come around as a result, possibly even beforehand. His current ranking is a reflection of this prediction.

Here is what many consider to be the “surprise” of the group. Ranking Hardy over certified studs in Scott and Cyrus is going to generate some head-scratching from those not in the know and that’s fine. Yet I have a good feeling

is the next big name to blow up out of St. Joseph’s Prep. Hardy put together fantastic tape despite playing beside names like

. Hardy was still able to gain he trust of the staff to be involved over stud Power Five senior commits. His stride, hand-eye coordination, and production as a junior in this offense should have those same programs buzzing. Hardy is going to have to test well, I’m unsure of how his times stack up against competition, yet I know the SJP staff will have him prepared well for the offseason. We are still unsure of about the QB situation leading into the 2024 Fall season, yet this shouldn’t affect Hardy’s recruitment much. I’m willing to bet that Hardy receives attention close to what

has seen over the past year, so long as Hardy tests well in front of coaches in the coming months. I believe in that so much as to rank him inside the top 20.
