A natural wideout who is tough to corral after the catch, Hughes Jr. has dependable hands and big-play ability in space. He gets up the field quickly after the catch and was a consistent option in the passing game throughout his sophomore season. One of the better 2028 receivers in the region, Hughes Jr caught 32 passes for 379 yards and one touchdown last season. Look for his numbers to only improve if he continues to work hard and progress over the next several months leading into the 2026 season. Hughes Jr. has earned recent offers from Memphis, Boston College, Troy, UNLV, among others.
