Newton running back [player_tooltip player_id='1366537' first='Isaiah' last='Hansen'] became the first 2027 commitment for the new Iowa State coaching staff. He'd just announced an offer from San Diego State on Feb. 26.   Prep Redzone Iowa's top-ranked 2027 player, Grinnell offensive lineman [player_tooltip player_id='1204515' first='Will' last='Slagle'], has scheduled spring unofficial visits. He's expected to check out Nebraska (Saturday), Miami (FL) (March 28), Iowa (April 4), Kansas State (April 7), Penn State (April 11) and Iowa State (April 20).   Slagle was verbally committed to Iowa State before reopening his recruitment when Matt Campbell left his job as the Cyclones head coach for the same position at Penn State. Rock Valley lineman [player_tooltip player_id='1393166' first='Nate' last='Brenneman'] reported that he set up officials visits to Iowa (June 5-7), Kansas (June 12-14) and Iowa State (June 19-21). All three have offered scholarships.   Kuemper Catholic lineman [player_tooltip player_id='1694834' first='Reid' last='Steger'] announced that South Dakota had offered him on Feb. 12.   On Feb, 14, Michigan State showed Sioux City East linebacker [player_tooltip player_id='1198829' first='Kason' last='Clayborne'] some love by being his latest offer. He also announced official visits to see the Spartans (June 5-7), Purdue (April 10-12), Minnesota (May 29-31) and Arizona (June 19-21). <a href="https://prepredzone.com/player/kason-clayborne/"></a>   [player_tooltip player_id='1207826' first='Will' last='Clausen'] has been one of the fastest rising prospects in Iowa. The Cedar Rapids Prairie lineman reported offers from Baylor, Minnesota, Florida Atlantic, South Florida, UConn, Miami (OH) Harvard, Penn and Colgate arriving since Feb. 10.   A Prairie Hawk classmate and fellow offensive lineman, [player_tooltip player_id='2123823' first='Will' last='Evans'] announced on Tuesday that Northern Iowa was his first Division I offer. The junior also visited Drake on Feb. 2.   Waukee Northwest TE/DE [player_tooltip player_id='1204438' first='Joe' last='Vinyard'] has been on a roll of late. Since Feb. 11, he's reported offers from Washington State, Western Michigan, Liberty, North Dakota, Toledo, Dartmouth and Yale.   Woodbine receiver [player_tooltip player_id='1197458' first='Landon' last='Blum'] announced an offer from Auburn on Feb. 23. He also set up a visit to Penn State.   Regina LB/TE [player_tooltip player_id='466364' first='Tate' last='Wallace'] reported a new offer from Arizona State on Wednesday. He scheduled an official visit to Minnesota for May 29-31.   Madrid tight end [player_tooltip player_id='1696575' first='Emerson' last='Bridgewater'] announced his first Division I offer on Feb. 11. South Dakota presented him with it. He also accepted a junior day invitation from South Dakota State during April.   The Coyotes also became the first D-I offer for Urbandale defensive back [player_tooltip player_id='1452144' first='Levi' last='Chula'], who reported it on Feb. 22.   South Dakota, Western Illinois and Missouri Western State reportedly offered Ankeny Centennial TE/DE [player_tooltip player_id='1617623' first='Cade' last='Newman'] last month. He also announced correspondence with Iowa State, Kansas State, Northern Iowa, Dartmouth and others.   Jaguar athlete [player_tooltip player_id='1198818' first='Rowan' last='Doak'] reported his first offer arriving from Missouri Western State on Thursday. He posted that he would be visiting a Northern Iowa junior day after an earlier stop at South Dakota State and a virtual visit with Princeton. His classmate, TE/DE [player_tooltip player_id='2086365' first='Owen' last='Gasperi'], announced offers from Northwest Missouri State and Missouri Western State in February, when he also visited South Dakota State.   Dowling Catholic linebacker [player_tooltip player_id='513361' first='Carlos' last='Blount Jr'] reported an offer from Wayne State this past Saturday. He took campus visits to South Dakota State and Drake last month.   South Dakota represented Cedar Rapids Xavier quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='1827747' first='Cash' last='Parks'] with his first Division I offer on Feb 9. He posted that he would be visiting St. Thomas, Northern Iowa and Southern Illinois for spring practice.   On Tuesday, Ankeny linebacker [player_tooltip player_id='1105160' first='Dawson' last='Whitinger'] announced an offer from Northern Iowa.   The University of Sioux Falls supplied Sioux City East running back [player_tooltip player_id='1570267' first='Amos' last='Collins Jr'] with his first D-I offer back on Feb. 21. His classmate, center [player_tooltip player_id='2089176' first='Camden' last='Somsky'], reported his first offer from Northwestern College on Monday.   [player_tooltip player_id='1616410' first='Drake' last='Buthe'] has been on a heck of a run along the recruiting trail. The Glenwood lineman posted he'd been offered by North Dakota, South Dakota, South Dakota State, Southern Illinois and Florida Atlantic.   Gilbert lineman [player_tooltip player_id='1643647' first='Trent' last='Wesselmann'] announced his first offer came from South Dakota on Feb. 12. Later in the month, Western Illinois offered.   [player_tooltip player_id='1283377' first='Lucas' last='Diehl'] continued ascending in his recruiting journey. The Kuemper Catholic lineman reported offers coming from, Northern Iowa and South Dakota a few weeks ago.   Valley lineman [player_tooltip player_id='1361315' first='Ben' last='Booth'] posted that he'd received junior day invitations from Northwest Missouri State, St. Thomas, Grand View, Minnesota State Moorhead, Northern Iowa and Columbia. Eastern Illinois invited him to summer camp.   [player_tooltip player_id='1610013' first='Nathan' last='Mahr'], a receiver from Crestwood, is corresponding with a lot of programs. He received junior day invitations from Penn (virtual), Bemidji State, Dakota State, Minnesota State Moorhead, Missouri Western and Winona State. Montana invited him to summer camp.   South Dakota and Central Michigan reportedly offered [player_tooltip player_id='1584432' first='Brayden' last='Hanks'] in recent weeks. The Cedar Falls linebacker also was invited to spring practice at Minnesota.   Storm Lake receiver [player_tooltip player_id='1197479' first='David' last='William'] attended junior days at South Dakota State, Drake and Northwestern College last month.   North Dakota State and South Dakota State played host to Fort Dodge quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='1644900' first='Tru' last='McBride'] for junior days in January. His Dodger classmate, Athlete [player_tooltip player_id='1827875' first='Sam' last='Moser'], reported scholarship offers from Wayne State and Sioux Falls last month.   Janesville lineman [player_tooltip player_id='2043381' first='Brendan' last='Meaney'] announced an offer from Northern Iowa during a campus visit on Tuesday. He also shared that he would be visiting South Dakota State (Friday), Iowa State (March 27), Iowa (March 28), Minnesota (April 4) and Kansas (April 11).
