is a good defensive back that has excellent versatility. His ability to play both inside as a slot cornerback and outside cornerback is excellent. In both positions, he does a good job of covering receivers. He has excellent speed as he can turn and run with wide receiver well. He also has good ball skills as he constantly knocks down balls thrown in his direction. He is also a good athlete and has great size (6’1 inches tall). Hill is a talented defensive back in the class of 2026 and recently picked up an offer from Kent State. I bet more will come his way soon.

Just another defensive back being groomed and developed St. Joseph’s Prep. The program has become a stable for several positions, none more than DB.
I have talked about Hill’s ranking and tape ad nauseam in the past. I will use this piece to analyze what schools might end up being a natural fit. Starting defensive backs at Prep are primed for, at the very least, interest from Division 1 schools. Even fringe D2 prospects will get looks from the likes of Bryant, Marist, Towson, because of the reputation Prep has built over the years. At the very least, Hill will garner attention from FCS schools, Ivy’s for sure so long as his grades check out. That’s Hill’s floor. I’m not afraid to say Hill has a Power Four grade from me. I see ACC schools like Syracuse, West Virginia, Pitt, and BC being possible landing spots for Hill. I might be jumping the gun, as Hill is currently unoffered. Yet, I trust what my eyes tell me. Excited to see what the next few months have in store.

6’1, 175 pounds. Up 5-10 pounds since last checked in, every pound matters especially concerning the growth of a defensive back. Fresh off his second 6A Title Game victory. Previously ranked as a top ten DB in his class, eighth specifically. With a rankings update looming, I have St. Joseph’s Prep’s

in line beside some of the best DB the class of 2026 has to offer. This is an offer-now corner in my opinion.
Breaking down Hill’s recently posted junior tape, I break down what I see below.
Height/weight combination is ideal, almost prototypical in what college coaches look for, especially if Hill’s current build is verified. I don’t question whether or not Hill can match up with 6’3-6’5 wideouts. The knock on Hill when I first saw him over a year ago was his weight, and whether or not he can play with some kind of physicality. Based on his junior tape, I am questioning his weight less and less. Unreal feel for passing concepts, he is seasoned in this sense. Can predict and break on in or out breaking routes in front of him, countless reps on tape provide proof of this. Tape starts off with Hill reeling in a pass while dropping into coverage, then showing off some playmaking skills returning said pick to the house for a score. Hill puts a ton of time into balance and agility drills, the kid is the ideal matchup outside the numbers, one SJP can lean on in times of need. Mental fortitude is there, kid’s confidence is through the roof. Transitions from reading concepts and dropping into coverage, to flipping hips and running, to tracking the football. Transitions between these areas almost seamlessly. Without a doubt a top corner in his class, one I will likely elevate on our rankings yet again, this being two consecutive updates Hill will see an improvement in ranking.

I have no tape to back up this claim. What I do have and know is that PCC struggled to move the ball through the air, likely thanks to the collective effort from prospects like

putting forth the best performance among corners present at this event. Flashes of the great corners who have come before him, Hill looked a bit more mature in terms of build, a bit more confident in terms of demeanor. If we focus on his play specifically, the young man’s coverage caused sacks, with QBs looking his way before the four-second clock, only to be met with strapped coverage. Blending press and off-coverage pre-snap alignments,

dominated competition. Bump and run reps looked great, man coverage reps were won nine times out of ten. Witnessed Hill move kids off of their route without causing penalties, saw him understand leverage and how to use it his advantage. Counted 4-5 PBUs while watching Hill, not counting the interception he had as well. Phenomenal two days in my opinion.

The DB to watch when eyes are on Wingmen Crimson. Ranked as the seventh-best DB prospect in his class,

is going to be tasked with locking down some seriously talented wideouts coming from OH, FLA, and NJ/NE. Luckily, Hill has all the tools necessary to keep up with burners downfield, as well as the competitive/physical nature necessary to match up with some of the bigger targets he might be tasked with covering.
