is another prospect in this class and on this breakdown that we knew about when he was a freshman. His first two seasons were headlined with season-ending injuries. He was a standout for Bixby as a junior and then became one of the state’s very best players as a senior. Gouldsby was an absolute star for the Spartans and every time he touched the ball, he had a chance to do something special. In the state title game, he was unstoppable with five touchdowns on the night. Gouldsby is a very special prospect and should have a very successful college career.

and he was routinely the best player on the football field on a team that was the most dominant squad in the state. The Spartans won a sixth consecutive state title and Gouldsby saved his best performance for his last game in the Bixby uniform. He totaled over 300 all purpose yards and five touchdowns. This season, he finished with just over 1,600 all purpose yards and accounted for 19 total touchdowns and had three interceptions on defense. Whether it was offense, defense or special teams, Gouldsby was absolutely electric every time he had the football. With Bixby’s level of dominance over the last few years, it’s become common that their players don’t have the eye-popping stats that others have. The starters rarely play in the third and fourth quarters. But Gouldsby was without a doubt one of the best in the state.Access all of Prep Redzone

had perhaps the performance of his career in the final game of his high school career. Gouldsby finished with just over 300 all purpose yards and five touchdowns. He was dominant with his game on offense and special teams. The memorable moment came after Jenks had some momentum following a pick six but Gouldsby returned the ensuing kickoff for a back-breaking touchdown.Access all of Prep Redzone

is the best of the bunch. Whether it’s offense, defense or special teams, Gouldsby has been one of the best players in the state when he’s been on the field this season. On offense, he’s another weapon that can help Bixby in the pass or run game. On defense, he turns into a ball hawk. And in special teams, well, we’re still not quite sure why teams still punt to Gouldsby. He’s one of the more electric players in the state when he has the ball in the open field.

On a team where so many different players can beat you on any given night, it’s hard to put the spotlight on just one player. But senior

has been that player to watch for Bixby every week this year because of how electric he is with the football in his hands. First off, he’s one of the best returners in the state. He has four punt returns for touchdowns and nearly had another in the semifinals against Owasso. Gouldsby is also versatile and is arguably Bixby’s best offensive weapon when you combine what he can do as a receiver and helping out in the run game. When he has the football in his hands and he’s in the open field, good things usually happen.

was one of the top playmakers in that week zero meeting against Owasso. And Gouldsby has been the most electric player for the Spartans this season. He’s been one of their leading receivers all season and a complete X-factor on the offensive side of the ball. And for whatever reason, teams still decide to punt to Gouldsby and he continues to make them pay as one of the best returners in the state. Gouldsby is incredibly fun to watch with the football in his hands.

has been an absolute star for the Spartans this season and he’s impacted all three phases of the game. On offense, Gouldsby is arguably Bixby’s top weapon. We still don’t understand why any team would elect to punt to Gouldsby but he continues to make teams pay for that decision with multiple punts that he’s returned for scores. Gouldsby shined bright last year in the regular season meeting with the Trojans. Despite Jenks beating Bixby and ending their state-record winning streak, Gouldsby was still one of the best players on the field. There’s no national TV audience or state-record winning streak but Gouldsby will still be one of the best players on the field this week.

is arguably the most underrated prospect in the state’s 2024 class. And whenever you’re talking about prospects and how they stack up, the term “underrated” gets thrown around so much that it loses meaning. But here, it fits like a glove. Every single time that Gouldsby gets the ball in his hands, he’s a threat to end up in the end zone. And that’s not just as a wide receiver. Bixby has gotten creative with him and he’s had plenty of carries this year and going back to last year. Then you look at the impact that he has in the return game as a punt returner. For whatever reason, teams still kick the ball to him and more times than not, he makes them pay with multiple punt return for scores. Gouldsby missed some time earlier this season but he came back with a vengeance last week in the win on the road against Westmoore.
