From the start of the 2024 prospect rankings, Bixby offensive lineman Brody Duffel Brody Duffel 6'6" | 270 lbs | OL Bixby | 2024 State OK has been a highly ranked prospect and not much has changed three years later. Duffel wraps up his career as a top five offensive lineman and has plenty of accolades that he’s racked up along the way. Duffel had a high ceiling as a prospect early on in his career and it’s hard to argue that he hasn’t met his potential. The Bixby standout was a star for the Spartan offense for at least three seasons now and has been a mainstay on an offense that has been one of the best in the state. Duffel has signed with Tulsa and expects to make an impact there.

We’ve written about Bixby senior offensive lineman Brody Duffel Brody Duffel 6'6" | 270 lbs | OL Bixby | 2024 State OK quite a bit over the last three seasons. Because as a sophomore, he already had earned high praise from head coach Loren Montgomery and this is a coach that has plenty of experience developing top-notch offensive linemen, both at Bixby and at Jenks prior. When you look at the state’s 2024 class, you can make the argument that Duffel is the top available prospect. He is a massive key to what Bixby does offensively. He anchors an offensive line that is incredibly talented and dominant on the line of scrimmage.

We’ve been saying this for a while now but just in case you’re new here, Bixby senior lineman Brody Duffel Brody Duffel 6'6" | 270 lbs | OL Bixby | 2024 State OK anchors arguably the best offensive line unit in the state. Duffel has been a standout since he was a sophomore and he continues to get better every time we see him. Not only can Duffel and this Bixby offensive line maul opponents but they are right there in line with the rest of the offense with how creative they get in some of their play-calling. There was a play earlier this month when the Spartans actually put a guard in motion before the play. That has nothing to do with Duffel but it deserves mention. Duffel is one of the best at his position in the state’s 2024 class and has been for a while now.

Bixby’s rushing attack was lights out on Thursday night. It felt like they were doing whatever they wanted to do and that started up front. We knew coming into this season that Bixby’s offensive line was going to be one of the better units in the state. They showed why in their dominant win over Owasso. Senior offensive lineman Brody Duffel Brody Duffel 6'6" | 270 lbs | OL Bixby | 2024 State OK was the anchor of an offensive line that paved the way for Bixby to run for around 400 yards as a team. Duffel has firmly established himself as one of the top prospects at his position and this Spartan offensive line is special. At the left tackle position, Duffel opened up holes for some of Bixby’s biggest plays Thursday night.

2024 offensive lineman Brody Duffel Brody Duffel 6'6" | 270 lbs | OL Bixby | 2024 State OK anchors a strong offensive line unit that is returning for the Spartans. As Bixby works in some new names elsewhere in the offense, they’ll be able to rely on the offensive line to set the tone up front, whether it is in the running game or passing game. The Spartans have a few guys along that offensive line that will be playing at the next level and Duffel is the best of the bunch. He has seemed to be the next guy up in a long line of outstanding offensive line prospects that have come out of Bixby in the last decade. His recruitment continues to explode and he should be one of the top guys at his position in the state this fall.

Right behind Utley is Bixby offensive lineman Brody Duffel Brody Duffel 6'6" | 270 lbs | OL Bixby | 2024 State OK as these two have been neck and neck in terms of the chase for the top spot at the position. And just like Utley, we really like the offensive line unit that Bixby has coming back this season and it could be one of the better position groups in the state. Duffel is the leader of that group and has the ability to set the tone early on and this is a Bixby team that loves to move their offensive linemen around. And we’re not talking positions. The Spartans do a lot of misdirection and counter runs so the Bixby linemen get out of their stances quick and when they are on the move, they always come with bad intentions. Duffel is a prospect that we think translates perfect to the next level at one of the tackle positions. And the Spartans have a nice growing list of next level offensive linemen that they’ve produced.

Bixby has had a great run of offensive linemen over the last decade which is no surprise considering their success in winning state championship after state championship. The latest is Brody Duffel Brody Duffel 6'6" | 270 lbs | OL Bixby | 2024 State OK and he continues to trend in a positive direction. Duffel spent the majority of his junior season at left tackle but also lined up at right tackle. The thing that jumps off the film when you watch Duffel is the frame he has and the athleticism he plays with. Bixby’s offense uses a lot of misdirection and because of that, Duffel is pulling a lot in their running schemes. And despite being 6’6, Duffel moves incredibly well and he has quick feet. He has to be really impressive to college coaches. When Duffel gets into a college weight room, he’s going to be an absolute menace because of that frame and athleticism. Duffel has firmly established himself as a top ten overall prospect in the state’s 2024 class.

While Hodges has held on to the top spot among offensive linemen, there isn’t much that separates the top three guys at the position right now. Going from the interior of the line to more of a tackle position with Bixby offensive lineman Brody Duffel Brody Duffel 6'6" | 270 lbs | OL Bixby | 2024 State OK . This is a prospect that we’ve really liked since seeing him dominate opponents as a sophomore. Then we checked him out earlier this season and he once again passed the eye test. He’s not the biggest tackle prospect but like a lot of Bixby’s players, he rarely makes many mistakes. And after talking with Bixby coaches a few times in the last year, it’s clear to us that Duffel has really impressed them. This is a program that has produced some really good players along the line of scrimmage and they believe that Duffel could be in that same conversation. Bixby’s offensive line was somewhat young coming into this season but Duffel has made sure they haven’t missed a step.
