Edmond Santa Fe offensive lineman Josh Aisosa Josh Aisosa 6’5″ | 300 lbs | OL Edmond Santa Fe | 2024 State OK saw his recruitment absolutely explode following his junior season. While some of the other offensive linemen within the top five have been known for a while now, Aisosa was somewhat of a late bloomer. But after his junior season film made the rounds, the offers started flooding in. The Santa Fe standout would eventually earn an offer and commit and sign with the Sooners. And last season, the future Sooner was the cornerstone of an offensive line that produced a 2,000 yard rusher in 6A-1 football. Aisosa opened up the lanes for a running back who became one of the best in the state.

Norman North offensive lineman Harrison Utley Harrison Utley 6’4″ | 285 lbs | OL Norman North | 2024 State OK has been a consistent force on the OL rankings for a long time now. Utley earned All State 1st Team honors multiple seasons and has been one of the better overall prospects in the state’s 2024 class for a while now. Utley showed steady growth over the last few seasons and that’s impressive to see considering where he was a couple years ago. Utley was already one of the better prospects but he continued to improve. He never got satisfied with where he was. So Utley is now headed off to Kansas and it will be interesting to see what impact he has for a KU team that is recruiting Oklahoma hard.

From the start of the 2024 prospect rankings, Bixby offensive lineman Brody Duffel Brody Duffel 6’6″ | 270 lbs | OL Bixby | 2024 State OK has been a highly ranked prospect and not much has changed three years later. Duffel wraps up his career as a top five offensive lineman and has plenty of accolades that he’s racked up along the way. Duffel had a high ceiling as a prospect early on in his career and it’s hard to argue that he hasn’t met his potential. The Bixby standout was a star for the Spartan offense for at least three seasons now and has been a mainstay on an offense that has been one of the best in the state. Duffel has signed with Tulsa and expects to make an impact there.
Muskogee offensive lineman Wesley Harvey Wesley Harvey 6’8″ | 270 lbs | OL Muskogee | 2024 State OK has been one of the more intriguing prospects in the state’s 2024 class, regardless of position. Harvey has towered over some of the other state prospects for a while now and you look at his 6’6 or 6’7 frame and you look at what could be after he hits a D1 weight room and food program. Harvey is long, athletic and while he needs to put on muscle and weight, he has the right frame to be a devastating offensive tackle prospect at the next level. Harvey committed and signed with TCU. We could certainly see him taking a massive step in the next few years and becoming the best of this group.
Collinsville offensive lineman Colten Christian Colten Christian 6’5″ | 285 lbs | OL Collinsville | 2024 State OK is another Oklahoma talent staying in-state and headed to Tulsa. Christian has shown steady growth as a prospect and it really started towards the end of his sophomore season. His junior year, Christian took a big leap along the offensive line and then he put it all together around this time last year and headed into his senior season. Christian is a powerful offensive lineman who has some underrated athleticism to his game. He’s done a great job developing over the last few years and his best football continues to be ahead of him. It will be interesting to see what position he fits.

Out of all the D1 signees at this position, Blanchard offensive lineman Ross Johnston Ross Johnston 6’5″ | OL Blanchard | 2024 State OK might have been the last one to emerge. His recruitment took off in the middle of his senior season and he would eventually commit and sign with Tulsa. Johnston was a prospect that we got a chance to see in person in early October during one of Blanchard’s biggest regular season games. He immediately caught our eye physically and then backed it up with his play on the field. Shortly after that game, Johnston earned that first offer and would commit to the Golden Hurricane. We’re fired up to see his continued development at the next level.
NOAH offensive lineman Ezra Ballinger Ezra Ballinger 6’5″ | 270 lbs | OL NOAH | 2024 State OK is another D1 signee in what has turned out to be an absolutely loaded position group. We didn’t see as much of Ballinger in person as we’ve seen some of the other OL prospects but our last impression of him as a prospect was a very good one. We saw Ballinger at a team camp in 2022 and then again in 2023. The jump that he made as an offensive lineman from one year to the next was one of the better jumps of anyone in this class, regardless of position. Ballinger became an absolute mauler and then you throw on the tape and you see the same steady physical play.
Highlights
Booker T Washington offensive lineman Darian Melendez Darian Melendez 6’5″ | 315 lbs | OL Booker T. Washington | 2024 State OK is another example of a prospect that has been on the radar for a while now. We’re going to be following Melendez as he’s going the junior college route and could very well end up at a higher level in a year or two. He was being recruited at that level and as long as he continues to put the work in, good things should follow. And we have no doubts that he’s going to put the work in based on watching him develop over the last few years. Melendez continued to be the top guy on the Booker T Washington offensive line and then during the offseason he continued to work on his craft.

Whenever you have prospect rankings, it’s always fun in a few years to look back and see who exceeded all expectations coming out of high school. One of those players for this class we have circled is Brock Sullivan Brock Sullivan 6’9″ | 305 lbs | OL Enid | 2024 State OK from Enid. Sullivan has all the physical tools to be the prospect in this offensive line group that should have been recruited more and end up way up the list when it’s all said and done. One big reason behind that is the steady improvement that Sullivan has shown over the last 18 months. He went from flying under the radar, despite his physical size, and became a steady force along the offensive line and jumped into the top ten.
Highlights
Del City offensive lineman Darreyl Thomas Darreyl Thomas 6’5″ | 295 lbs | OL Del City | 2024 State OK is similar to a few other prospects on this breakdown. It feels like he’s been on our radar since he was wrapping up his freshman year. Thomas continued to grow as a prospect and became the cornerstone of the Del City offensive line. And when you look back at their offense last season, they were one of the more balanced units in the state. It all started up front with a player like Thomas setting the tone on the line of scrimmage. Over the last several seasons, Thomas was very consistent and was essentially a top ten guy at his position for all four years of high school ball.
