Norman North offensive lineman Harrison Utley Harrison Utley 6'4" | 285 lbs | OL Norman North | 2024 State OK has been a consistent force on the OL rankings for a long time now. Utley earned All State 1st Team honors multiple seasons and has been one of the better overall prospects in the state’s 2024 class for a while now. Utley showed steady growth over the last few seasons and that’s impressive to see considering where he was a couple years ago. Utley was already one of the better prospects but he continued to improve. He never got satisfied with where he was. So Utley is now headed off to Kansas and it will be interesting to see what impact he has for a KU team that is recruiting Oklahoma hard.

We mentioned that offensive line being the strength of this Norman North team as we head into the 2023 football season. 2024 offensive lineman Harrison Utley Harrison Utley 6'4" | 285 lbs | OL Norman North | 2024 State OK is a big reason behind that. He’s one of the best prospects at his position in the 2024 class and has firmly established himself as one of the best offensive linemen in the state. As Norman North gets more and more comfortable with some new names at quarterback and some of the other skill positions, we think that Utley is in a perfect position to be a vocal leader and steady presence in the huddle. With Utley anchoring the offensive line, and he’s not alone on that line as they have more dudes along the line of scrimmage, the Timberwolves will have one of the better units in the state.

Norman North offensive lineman Harrison Utley Harrison Utley 6'4" | 285 lbs | OL Norman North | 2024 State OK continues to hold on to the top spot among the offensive line group in the state’s 2024 class. Out of all the prospects at this position, Utley probably saw his recruitment take off first with multiple offers from D1 programs. Eventually, the Norman North big man would settle in on Kansas and committed to the Jayhawks. We really like this Norman North offensive line as they have another 2024 OL prospect we’re excited about and a few younger prospects that are up and coming. But Utley is the engine that makes this machine go and he anchors the line and sets the tone. We got a chance to watch Utley up close this past spring at a team camp and he was just bullying opposing defensive linemen. He has size, quick hands and really good technique, which has turned him into one of the top overall guys in the class.

The first of several offensive linemen that were impressive on Thursday night was Norman North’s 2024 big man Harrison Utley Harrison Utley 6'4" | 285 lbs | OL Norman North | 2024 State OK and that came as no surprise. Utley is right there at the top when it comes to the state’s 2024 class for offensive linemen and he showed why throughout the camp. Utley was dominant at the point of attack and when Norman North started to run the ball, that’s when Utley was able to really start cooking. Lining up at left tackle, Utley did a good job of keeping opponents out of the backfield and we think that the Norman North offense as a whole looked pretty good while we were watching their group. We could tell while watching that Utley has taken another step in his game not only on the field but in the huddle as a vocal leader. With another ranking update coming up in June, we don’t anticipate Utley being anywhere but near the top for the 2024 group.

Our final prospect on this breakdown is Norman North offensive lineman Harrison Utley Harrison Utley 6'4" | 285 lbs | OL Norman North | 2024 State OK who has jumped into the top five for overall prospects and is now the top ranked offensive lineman in the class. Utley continues to improve every time we see him and the jump he made from his sophomore to junior seasons was a big reason why Utley made this jump. Another big reason for the jump is the attention that Utley has already gotten from college coaches and the praise he’s received from high school coaches. There are quite a few coaches that mentioned Utley as one of the top linemen in Class 6A-1 this season. Utley is an impressive athlete and seems to only be scratching the surface on what he will be in a few more years. As he continues to grow, hit the weight room and get bigger, Utley is going to be an elite offensive tackle to come out of the state. This will be a big spring and summer for Utley.

We mentioned how the top three offensive linemen in this class are not separated by much at all at this moment and Norman North tackle Harrison Utley Harrison Utley 6'4" | 285 lbs | OL Norman North | 2024 State OK is the third member of that trio. We really like Duffel and Utley at the tackle positions while Hodges is more of an interior offensive lineman. Utley has been the most active so far in his high school career when it comes to his recruitment. He’s been on plenty of visits, camps and has received a few offers already. Technically speaking, Utley is incredibly advanced when it comes to his moves along the offensive line. Like several other top offensive linemen, Utley has benefitted from working with J.R. Conrad and the Trench Mafia training group. And then you look at what Norman North has done this season, especially in the ground game and it’s hard not to be impressed. Utley has been a consistent top ten prospect overall and nothing has changed in this latest update.
