, has already committed to play football at Stanford. It will be interesting to watch Kolar fit into Stanford’s offensive scheme and see how the coaching staff utilizes his skill set. I love his pure athleticism and the versatility he brings to the offense. You can flex him out as a single receiver and create a matchup on the outside, or keep him at H-back and let him do damage in the box. He is physical at the point of contact and runs his feet. His hands really stand out on film, and he does an excellent job creating space for himself to make the catch. Kolar has the ability to stretch the field vertically while also presenting a difficult matchup in the red zone. His combination of size, athleticism, hands, and versatility gives Norman North and Stanford another dynamic weapon, and I’m excited to see how both find different ways to get him involved.

is going to be a huge piece for what Norman North does on both sides of the ball. First off, Kolar is one of the best tight ends in the region and is highly sought after in the state’s 2027 class. Last season, he finished with 44 catches for over 600 yards and nine touchdowns. If Kolar was just a tight end, he would still be considered one of Norman North’s top players. But you throw in the fact that he’s going to see significant time on the defensive side of the ball and he might end up being their best two-way player and it won’t be close. Last year, he had nearly 50 tackles and was a menace in Norman North’s front seven.

started last season as a legitimate tight end prospect and he has had a very busy offseason. Whether it’s 7v7 tournaments or camps, Kolar has been competing and he’s benefitted from just that. Kolar’s recruitment has started to take off and we’re looking forward to seeing what his junior season looks like. He’s a prospect that looks just as comfortable lining up as a hybrid tight end or putting his hand in the turf and coming off the edge of the line of scrimmage. He could have a big junior year.

definitely impressed us when we got a chance to see him in person earlier this season. He’s a consistent pass-catcher over the middle in this Norman North offense. It was a little over a year ago that Norman North coaches told us about Kolar and how he had some potential to follow in the footsteps of older brothers John and Charlie. The Kolars have definitely been productive in the Norman North program and Ben could be that next guy. Kolar debuts in the 2027 rankings as a borderline top 20 overall prospect and he’s the top tight end prospect in this last update. Kolar is definitely a name to know moving forward.
