Christian has shown steady growth as a prospect and it really started towards the end of his sophomore season. His junior year, Christian took a big leap along the offensive line and then he put it all together around this time last year and headed into his senior season. Christian is a powerful offensive lineman who has some underrated athleticism to his game. He’s done a great job developing over the last few years and his best football continues to be ahead of him. It will be interesting to see what position he fits.

Collinsville’s running game has been mauling opponents and it’s hard to ignore the big guys up front that help get the job done. Senior offensive lineman and Tulsa commit Colten Christian Colten Christian 6'5" | 285 lbs | OL Collinsville | 2024 State OK leads an offensive line unit that wears opponents down and allows their physical runners to get to the next level. Christian is one of the best senior offensive linemen in the state and he’s continuing to prove that this season. We’ve gotten the chance to see Christian in person a handful of times and every time we see him, it looks like he’s taken his game to another level. Tulsa is getting a gem with Christian in their 2024 class.

We mentioned earlier how the Cardinals were going to be incredibly strong up front along the offensive line and Colten Christian Colten Christian 6'5" | 285 lbs | OL Collinsville | 2024 State OK leads that group. The dominant lineman has been a standout for a little over a year now and his work in the offseason and on the field in the fall has paid off. He committed to Tulsa earlier this offseason and is widely considered one of the top offensive linemen in the state’s 2024 class. And this is a positional group that is incredibly talented and deep. But Christian has established himself as one of the better guys and we think that he’s going to help out the Cardinals as some of their new faces on offense get thrown into the fire early on in the season. We expect Christian to be one of the better OL in Class 5A.

Christian had a really strong junior season for the Cardinals and then he really got on our radar when we got a chance to see him up close during our January prospect camp. Christian was the best of the best of an offensive line group that was pretty talented and the depth was certainly there. Christian walked away with the MVP award for the position group and he’s continued his strong offseason from there. He’s a powerful lineman that can absolutely bully opponents from the point of attack. At this point, we think he might be more of an interior lineman at the next level but he certainly has the ability to be moved around and play multiple positions. He has size, athleticism and his hand placement is always on point.

The next player that we are going to talk about is Colten Christian Colten Christian 6'5" | 285 lbs | OL Collinsville | 2024 State OK out of Collinsville.  This past January, he was our MVP at the camp and was in the mention again this go around.  This was my second time putting my eyes on him this offseason and Christian didn’t disappoint.  In individual time, Christian was up front leading the group in drills and demonstrating how to perform each drill as a leader.  While playing tackle, he has a quick kickback step and sets up fast on his defender.  Christian is patient on his defender as he doesn’t attack too quickly to tip his hand in pass pro.  I watched several reps on Christian and he was fundamentally sound all day and dominated his opponents.

Another close MVP race came at offensive line position and it came down to a pair of 5A linemen in the 2024 class. Walking away with the award was Collinsville big man Colten Christian Colten Christian 6'5" | 285 lbs | OL Collinsville | 2024 State OK , who was dominant at multiple spots along the offensive line. Christian is a 2024 prospect that we’ve kept an eye on since October and his stock has only gone up from then. Christian is currently not ranked in the 2024 class but that’s going to change in a little over a week when the 2024 rankings get updated. Christian did such a good job during 1 on 1’s and his performance not only impressed us when we got a chance to watch him in action, it was impressive to the coaches on both sides of the ball. It seems like Christian only continues to get better every time we see him so we’re looking forward to the next time.
