A fun young player who really caught our eye when searching for 2027 prospects was Martinsburg LB Hiam Alvira Hiam Alvira 5'9" | 175 lbs | LB Martinsburg | 2027 WV . Alvira is just a playmaker on both sides of the ball and was always around the ball in the highlights we were able to watch. He picked off several passes as a linebacker in his available film and put himself in good positions to make a play. Alvira did a nice job reading plays and showed good pursuit speed when closing on passes and on ball carriers. From his fullback film, Alvira is also a very physical player and punishing blocker who has the athleticism to carry the ball on offense and leak out for a pass.

Alvira appears to have a natural feel for the game and if he continues to get bigger than his listed 5’9 175 size, he’ll have a high ceiling as a prospect.
