. Alvira is just a playmaker on both sides of the ball and was always around the ball in the highlights we were able to watch. He picked off several passes as a linebacker in his available film and put himself in good positions to make a play. Alvira did a nice job reading plays and showed good pursuit speed when closing on passes and on ball carriers. From his fullback film, Alvira is also a very physical player and punishing blocker who has the athleticism to carry the ball on offense and leak out for a pass.
Alvira appears to have a natural feel for the game and if he continues to get bigger than his listed 5’9 175 size, he’ll have a high ceiling as a prospect.

will be a big-time player for the Bulldogs in the future. Alvira flashed some real playmaking ability on their freshmen team this season in the limited highlights available. The available highlights showed him flying around making plays with a knack for the football on both sides of the field. He’ll be able to help sooner rather than later on special teams for the varsity squad too possibly even as a sophomore. Alvira flashed physicality and a nasty streak while being a blocker on offense as a RB/FB too. As more highlights become available, we’ll have a better idea of his future outlook but even with a limited amount Alvira still excites.
