2027 Jefferson OL Elijah Weaver’s footwork and lateral quickness make him an interesting interior line prospect for the next level. He’s currently playing tackle for the Cougars, where his athleticism helps him handle the edge and mirror defenders in pass protection. Weaver has the frame to move inside at the next level, and his agility and short-area quickness could translate well to guard. He’s a strong D3 prospect with enough upside and athleticism to draw looks from D2 programs as well.

Jefferson’s Elijah Weaver is a new name on my radar this season, and I like what I’ve seen from him as a potential college guard. Weaver has the frame to play inside, but Jefferson has him at tackle because his athleticism and footwork allow him to handle the edge. He has quality lateral agility and short-area quickness in pass protection, allowing him to mirror defenders and stay in position. I like his potential as an interior lineman at the next level, and he’s a good D3 prospect with some D2 upside in my eyes.
