Ethan Cohall Ethan Cohall 5'11" | 190 lbs | DB Bergen Catholic | 2025 State NJ closed his high school career with a standout performance in Bergen Catholic’s state championship win. The senior defensive back was all over the field, showing off his ability to tackle in space as Don Bosco tried to exploit one-on-one matchups on the outside. Cohall answered with several tackles for loss and key stops.

In addition to his tackling, he excelled in coverage, breaking up multiple passes and frustrating Bosco’s playmakers. His instincts and physicality were on full display, proving why he’s one of the top defensive backs in the state. Cohall ended his high school career on a high note, helping secure the championship. When other teams and players quit, Ethan Cohall Ethan Cohall 5'11" | 190 lbs | DB Bergen Catholic | 2025 State NJ refuses to relent. Cohall typically plays well off, allowing him to see everything develop in front of him and also preventing anyone from getting behind him. He can, however, also wall off the edge nicely down near the line. A very good tackler, he can stick to receivers and play the ball as it arrives – while also high pointing the ball when the opportunity presents itself. A very good tackler, Cohall wraps well and finishes by tackling to his leverage. He diagnoses the run very well, often stacking behind his matchup when they try to block him along the perimeter. My type of player, Cohall is a well coached, hard nosed, good football player.

Racking up 61 tackles, 2 forced fumbles, 2 interceptions, and a sack, Ethan can cover sideline to sideline and vertically as well. Ethan can create havoc in the backfield anytime he is bringing the pressure. He consistently disrupts the timing of a play and force the runner to break away from the play design. A defender with very quick acceleration, Ethan is able to close in on runner faster than they anticipate.
